That light festival looks like such a wonderful thing for kids! The zoo here does a big light show every year like that. It's always freezing but a lot of fun. I too really love the ritual of opening blinds in the morning. I can't imagine a day starting any other way!
I am really enjoying your videos and love the types of plants you prefer. It reminds a lot of the types that I like. Keep em coming 😊. ❤ from Jessica in Massachusetts.
I love caudex plants they are very special. My dioscorea is freaking out at the moment and I love the heartshaped leafs. Stephania pierrei/errecta and Ph. mirabilis are both on my wishlist...wish you luck with your newbies. Greetings from Austria, Simone 💚
I can totally relate to the enjoying the colder months better & feeling better. I have some health issues that cause me to not feel well when it's hot. I also have anxiety & I find your videos so relaxing. So appreciate your videos & your soothing voice & beautiful plants.
@lindagailsch thank you for your sweet comment Linda ❤️ I too have a whole laundry list of health issues that I deal with better during the colder seasons. I am so grateful that my content can be a relaxing outlet for you. 😊
I love your chill vibe videos. Very nicely done! 😊 Anxiety is absolutely a challenge for many of us. Videos like this help me to relax. After watching your last video, I decided to make time before bed to read or do a crossword puzzle. Too much screen time does a number on our brains. So thank you... And I have tons of books I could sell!

@ that’s just it. It’s never had roots like yours. Maybe a couple short ones but every once in a while it will try to put out a shoot. Maybe a half inch worth then it dies back. I just hold on to it cuz it perplexes me
As a 61 year old Mom, I remember what it was like with young children. It was so impactful, I still remember. I would like to say it gets better but teenage years were the worst. My kids are now 39 & 40. Christians, no alcohol or tattoos. My daughter is a nurse and my son has a very good job. My son is 39 and had his home paid off for about 3 years. I say all that to say I was an excellent Mom. The only advice I can give a Mom is never let your kids spend the night away from home with friends. That is when you have trouble. I was disciplinarian before school started and friend when school started. My kids are not perfect. They both have some ocd. Now, they are the love of my life. I divorced there father at 30 years of marriage due to a drug and alcohol addiction. I remarried when I was 50 which was a huge, HUGE mistake. This husband is a self centered, never had children idiot. But its a mistake I will live with the rest of my life.

That light festival was amazing. So pretty! I live in Canada so our cold/winter season is long. I’m usually pretty happy when spring arrives.

I have a stephania erecta and it’s dying. All these types die on me. lol. Idk how to care for them I guess so I enjoy watching yours grow.
Not dead just sleeping, they can go dormant
Oh no! they can be tricky sometimes but maybe they are only going dormant? 😊
@@mypetitegarden I think actively dying. It’s been looking shriveled and sickly all year
@1101naomi oh no, maybe it's rotted from overwatering? Have you checked the roots?
