Waterfront Views in Quartzsite after the Storm // 13ft boler Trailer - Full Time Nomads

- While living as nomads in the desert of Quartzsite in December 2023 a storm rolled in that not only produced record amounts of rain. Along with it came Flash flood Warning and flooded roads and highways. We remained safe during this storm, but it sure was something to witness. To have the opportunity to see rushing rivers in the desert appear out of nowhere. And with all this rain and moisture the desert the next day was so fresh and green looking.
Join us, Tarah and Angie along side our pets Stella (our English Bull Terrier) and Mr. Bennie (our Siamese X Tabby cat) as we live full time in our 1972 13 ft boler travel trailer while travel around North America .

Lovely. The rainstorm of December 2023. THAT was a night to remember! I spent the whole night wondering if I should sleep in a life jacket!
Ya that was quite the storm. We had a flowing river between our camps for a little bit.
Hi girls...missed yall... enjoyed the video
Stay safe & many blessing😊
Thank you so much. We have missed putting out videos on a regular basis. Sometimes is hard while on the road. So many variables esp in a small space. I hope to get back to releasing videos more regularly again 😄. Glad you are still enjoying the videos
By the way I love ur beanie...i have lots of yarn packed up if u want them...lol
Thanks a lot for ur videos..
Thank you so much for the compliment. Lol Tarah loves collecting yarn 🧶 to make projects with .
Must be canadian toque when ever I go to the USA and I say toque people just look at me funny from southern ontario great video
Lol toque is very Canadian I think. I get lots of funny looks often as well. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The re-bar is a vast improvement over the thin tent stakes. You can also get Lag Bolts up to 3/4 inch dia. and up to 24in long. Slip a large flat washer to hold the tent loop and use a cordless or corded drill/driver and socket.
Thank you for watching and commenting. Good to know about the lag bolts option as well. We will have to keep that in mind. Thank you for sharing the information 🙂
He still goes in the litter box even though he's outside?? Lol😂😂
lol Yes he does. well 99 % of the time. He uses the litter box when inside the boler (trailer), and we always provide it as an option while he is outside as well. And he still chooses to use it.. lol
Great tip on the spikes 👌
Thank you for watching and commenting. The spikes are amazing so I thought they were worth sharing so others knew about them too 😄
What’s the deal to be able to be in the States for longer than 6months? I live where there are a lot of Canadians and they all have to leave before six months are up.
Thank you for watching and commenting. So when Canadians come to the USA (for the winter, for example) they are granted a 6 month visitor visa. Which allows them to visit the USA for up to 6 months. But they need to be back on Canadian soil before the 6 months have completed. From a Canadian point of view if they stay longer it can affect (each province is different) their medical coverage, their vehicles insurance and other things. From an American point of view if they stay longer than permitted, the Canadian can be seen as over staying their visitor visa and be considered a immigration risk and be banned from re-entry for up to 10 years. And/or a person who stays in the USA for more than 6 months may be asked to file taxes with the IRS. In order for a Canadian to stay longer than the 6 months, they would need to have a pending or approved visitor extension request, student visa, work visa or green card. (That permits a longer stay in the USA) Otherwise it can be quite an issue legally and immigration wise. That's the gist of it. Hope that helps.
That of course is just a brief explanation there is a lot of stuff that goes with all of this
I like your spot with some trees.
I'm thinking of getting tent stakes that have a collar that sidewinds down the stake and comes with an attachment for drill and they kinda screw into the ground...do you think thay would work there?
I am not sure I understand the type of tent peg you have in mind. So I am unable to say if I think that will work or not. Sorry.
@@Lady_Ferns
No problem, I'm not the best at describing such.
There's not very many places where I think you'd be able to screw anything in, very hard packed and rocky. Maybe in the sandy areas, but those places are more rare. Tried and true in the area is a 3lb hammer and heavy spikes or rebar like these guys use.
@@markoshun
Thank you
@@markoshun thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this as well. Nothing so far for us has come close to the 3 lb hammer and rebar stakes. Happy to hear you are aware of them as well 😄
Mr. Bennie is shameless 😂
lol Very true!
