Really impressive for a side-arm, and the fact that the company themselves are fully supporting it by sharing the files for a printable holster is awesome. I do wish it looked a bit more like a classic revolver though, but oh well, it's still pretty cool.
Where exactly would you fit the components, then?

Super fun blaster. I ended up making a right hand holster out of cardboard and yellow and orange duct tape.

@@wholefttheydogatcentralpoint The Targets in my area (Indy and Cincinnati) get blasters early compared to some areas. The Outlaw was available third week of July over here.
I had to buy 2 of these. The way the barrel pulls back into the cylinder as you pull the trigger was a great idea

This seems like a perfect blaster for me in a HvZ and I also heard they are selling a 90 Fps spring with it to so I would keep a eye out on that
This blaster is just so fun! Ive been having more fun with it than my Mark 4. It is just an absolute homerun 40$ 1 handed, swappable cylinder and it just works out of the box. That is such an important thing to me. Buying off the shelf high preformance blasters that just work.
Should do a mod on the Vulcan to make it look like a 50 cal machine

This is my first buy-it-on-release pro blaster along with the xxlongshotxx. I now have a 120+ FPS primary and secondary in the hobby for less than 70$
I pay 100$ usd and honestly i could have a nice repo of darts and decent and upgradable setup for some fun.... It makes the hobby accessable and honestly my plinking itch has never been scratched so adequately. 🍻 Cheers
The promo videos mentioned something about a weaker spring that brings down the fps to just under 100 that apparently makes the prime like butta, and makes fanning the hammer stupid easy.
I’m glad they seem to have understood that at some point, we would want to try and put a scar barrel on it.

That gets the same FPS as my old Hammershot with a GF barrel and a Spring upgrade and Halfdarts. Though this would be faster to reload. I bet you could test this with your massive Hammershot collection.
Was in the process of picking one up when this went live, also found a Dictator in clearance for $15! Couldn't pass it up.
Yup. Found that same Dictator discount. Bought 3- 1 to paint like Oblivion gun & 2 for the Amazon rack.
IDK if getting the Outlaw even though I've a Hammershot be akin to getting a second pet...love'em both but differently.

The motor noise made it sound like, and the sunlight on your netting made it look like, you were indoors. I was really confused for a moment when the trees painted on your walls started moving.

Captain a suggestion, I believe this would work better than my original idea of using the deuce, a colt revolver rifle! In bright colors of course!
Great video as always! I just bought one, love it so far. I found if you load a dart into the rear of the barrel before loading a full cylinder, you can get 7 shots outt of it stock! You could also load 2, and have the first shot shotgun 2 at once, but kinda makes me wonder if someone could make a 2 shot inline clip mod for the barrell so we could squeeze 8 shots out of this thing

I did get the outlaw on Sale at Target for only 20.26 at a cheaper price. I do have to say that this will replace my Deuce Pro from now on.

Hey Captain. From what I understand Dart Zone is planning on releasing a 100ish fps spring for sale on their website at some point for this blaster..
Just realized the way the barrel moves forward is similar to the nagant pistol from the 1800s

The extra portion to the barrel could be used on fields that have an FPS limit. So that's a good idea. Immagine what this blaster would be like moded. Omg nuts.

the fact that the hammer goes back up totally ruins it for me. long live the obviously superior rekt jury.
Why would making the blaster more efficient ruin it for you? By having the hammer return, the main spring does not have to fight the interia of a metal hammer with mechanical advantage. It save wear and tear on the system and gives it more power.

I have an Accu-Nub for the Outlaw. It drops the fps about 10-15 for me depending on dart type. There is one big caveat: it needs fresh darts. The moving barrel really screws up having any sort of scar or muzzle device because of the air gap it creates in the front. With fresh darts and an Accu-Nub you lose that 10-15 fps, but the fps consistency improved in our testing (went from a standard deviation of ~5-5.5 down to ~2.5 when tested with worker gen3+ and dzmax darts).

The rail seems like a weaver type rail, that's like picatinny before the slots.
I think you can ad things through like alan key style screws and just have it fit with friction..
this reminds me very much of an original destiny hand cannon, would love to see someone do a kit for this

Maybe try cutting down a scar barrel, in order to get it a bit lower? That could probably bring it to about 100
Could the loss of fps be due to the retracting barrel when the trigger is pulled so it can seal into the cylinder thus possibly making the tip of the darts hit the front lip of the scar? Plus, could it also be losing the seal between the retracted barrel and the scar after the tail of the dart has cleared the rectracted main barrel is the reason for the fps loss?

As far as I'm concerned, there is ZERO chance the x-strike on the trigger is accidental
Hey xavier I have a question, does it feel weird to prime the outlaw compared to a hammershot? Just wondering because it looks more like you’re just pressing down on the outlaw rather than pulling down on a hammer like a revolver.
It is very much more of a downward action rather than the motion of a hammershot. And that is because it is. They are using the hammer as a lever to get the mechanical advantage needed to prime the heavy spring.
I like that the barrel extension for the Stryker fits on this thing.

I just thought hmm.. the omnia would be a good place to start, but i also want to get into modding flywheelers as well.. but support for the omnia will takena while. Im on a budget, but tbh if I stopped buying dumb stuff, and the same springers more or less every week, id be able to afford a good printed flywheeler, maybe even an aeg eventually. Dictatornis on clearance so im grabbing that thursday.. was gonna grab the trion but ill wait so i dont miss this sale
no you can still prime it pretty easily not others I've seen and they have a hard time priming it

It is not. The blasters are different enough that would not be possible unless they planned for them to be compatible from the start...which they should have...

I can't pull the hammer all the way with one thumb I have to use 2 and its still pretty hard

It's an objectively great, smooth operating blaster that just didn't resonate with me. I understand the engineering considerations but I'm not crazy about the hammer's long travel. It forces a one-hand prime versus keeping the blaster on target and priming with the off-hand. Reacquiring the target is a pain because the integrated sights are terrible. The lack of a top rail is a huge miss because it would have helped compensate for the other issues. Finally, I find the blaster to be a bit ugly. It's a mismatch of styles and the angled nose kills it for me.
