Chari Allahqul has been devoted to searching for Afghanistan’s antique rugs since he was a child. The carpets are a traditional craft made by the country’s nomadic tribes. The mats could take “rug hunters” months to find and the journey to find them can even be dangerous. However, the hunt for the hand-woven carpets has become increasingly difficult in recent years as many nomadic tribes have abandoned their family-run looms.

Beautiful craft and designs. Hope they can preserve the traditional way of making carpets as part of culture and heritage
Hope it lives forever
I have an Afghan Tent Door, magnificent wool piece with long tassels, in perfect condition, reds, browns, and black. It’s about 3 ft x 6 ft and the tassels are about 8 ft long. I bought it in the old City of Jerusalem in an Arab shop in 2010.
This video reminds me of prince of persia.
