Hey Joe, good question. Free to download, most of the time, just means you can have the file and listen to it when you want and use it for what you want. Where things get tricky is when you start using it in your youtube videos that make money. UA-cam tries to make sure all the money is split fairly using this thing called content-id. They want to make sure that if you use a song that you don't have the rights for that the artist or copyright owner is getting paid. When you download a track, check out if it says "free to use in videos" as well and this will give you piece of mind where to use it in your video or not.
