    Honestly, the solar farm seems the best idea for their economy. The problem is they want a giant one instead of thousands of normal sized ones.

      Saudi Arabia can produce a barrel of oil for around 5 dollars though. Their electricity is on average about 500% cheaper than the USA. And the USA has cheap power compared to most. I think this might be the craziest on the list. It's like Hawaii building lava factories. The stuff literally just comes out of the ground.
      Casino Mecca is even crazier but this one is close.

    • @Carnutzjoe

      @CharlieBam I think most of us will live to see SA’s cheap oil come to an end. They know it but they won’t admit it. That’s why they’re so keen on investing. When the easy money ends they will have to rely upon the TRILLIONS they are sitting on to provide.

      Nothing lasts forever. That's why SA is trying its best to diverse its economy instead of completely depending on just oil, because if one day the oil market crashes, also SA's economy will go down with it.@@Carnutzjoe

      That last may or may not be 100% true, but it is undeniable that SA's oil reserves, and the world's demand for them, are both very very finite things.

    • @JonMartinYXD
      @JonMartinYXD 9 місяців тому

      @@santoshNarayana That would make the desalinisation more expensive. It requires additional facilities and work to turn the brine into consumable sea salt (and that is without considering the growing presence of microplastics). The cost of that additional work would not be recouped because the vast amounts of sea salt created would drive the price down to near zero. Packaging and shipping it would cost more than just putting it on a truck and dumping it in the desert (which would inevitably create some other problem in the future). The only way out of the trap would be if some new industrial process was developed that used sea salt as an input.

    Simon!
    How insightful of you.
    We would love to hear more about the perceived failings of our Kingdom in order to help avoid problems in the future..
    Come and see us here at our embassy next Monday morning at 9 to discuss fees we can pay you for your input. Please bring ID and come by yourself. We will have you out in an hour or so.
    Kind regards,
    The embassy.

      simon ;
      a ) come by yourself ! ( no cams to authenticate , or friends to ensure you safety )
      b ) we already chose the time & date . . . so no need to check if it suits you . . .
      c ) i already mentioned (shamelessly) that we will bribe you for your "input" and publicly stated that we will pay all your fees to come over so we may influence you to say the most beautiful & positive things about us 🤡 would you like a ferrari or lamborghini ? !
      finally , , two more points ;
      1 ) i only mentioned the points above because i am the latest stupid employee , , and i need to impress my bosses . . . and the only way i can think of is : to publicly offer to bribe you 🤪 because we uncultured saudiased people think we can buy anything (and/or) anyone !
      2 ) i have nooo link whatsoever to our affiliate consulate in istanbil 😝
      😅🤪🤣😝😛🤭🤦🏻‍♀️🙈😜🤥🙊🤦🏻‍♂️😸👹😈👻😄🙉🤪💀☠👿

      It breaks my heart that the archeology I am most interested in seeing resides in countries that hate me based on politics and/or gender, and that that reality will probably never change in my lifetime.

    It is important to acknowledge that 95% of the video contains misleading information. While I understand your intention to connect with the viewers through hidden messages and comments, it is crucial to prioritize factual accuracy in your research and content creation. Furthermore, I would advise you to diversify your sources of information. Relying solely on local sources from [your country] may limit your understanding of the broader picture. Exploring a wider range of perspectives can enable you to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the subject matter at hand.

    It's all nice and dandy to talk about Saudi's mega project failures, but no one is talking about England's potholes problems. I urge Mr. Whistler to do an side-project episode on pothole fixing failures in England. I was in London a few months ago and drove my rental from one pothole to another. Its nice to see you sneering on another country's failure, whereas, we, the visitors, get our vacations ruined in your country because of potholes.
