😂😂 This dude is such a sensitive one. Fact is, Holtz is right, OSU isn't physical enough. He talks about finishing and Yada Yada. They had 14 point leads TWICE in the Peach Bowl and got out physicaled by Georgia. His play calling is atrocious in tight games. But yeah, get mad that an 86 year old man told the truth.
This is a game against two powerhouse programs not some cupcake team like you see in the MAC or Mountain West, so yes Notre Dame was good on paper and parts of the game but Ohio State won it on the field. Go Bucks
Sad that Day had to go down the "not physical" road, the man has lost 6 games in 5 years and has a .890 win percentage. We play in the B1G East division, perhaps the toughest division in football! I feel so conflicted cause I really don't like Ohio State much, but man Ryan Day is an easy guy to root for after all the unnecessary backlash and criticism he's received. Then to come out like this so vehemently having his team's back, nothing but admiration and respect!
He is a decent guy it seems compared to Urban. Or even Harbaugh, but maybe not as good of a head coach.

I’ve always been a fan of Mich, dating back to Braylon Edwards days (I’m Young) but in my lifetime OSU has dominated Michigan and it hasn’t even been close. Now Michigan win 2 in a row after going like 17-5 and now OSU need to “prove” themselves against Michigan? Come on buddy, get real. OSU should handle Michigan easily this year barring a mental collapse.

Take that same attitude into the Michigan game, because that is the only way that the Buckeyes beat Michigan this year, they need to take it personal, and play with a chip on their shoulder. The Ohio State offense is not as prolific as last year, so they have to win with grit and determination.

I dont think it was the segment in whole, it was the part where Lou Holtz directly insulted Ryan Day and made it personal by naming off teams and scores etc and then claimed Notre Dame was superior bc of it. He was wrong and made a mistake and Day torched him for it. ND lucky the refs were horrible last night or they woulda never been in the gm to begin with.

Was that scoring play a reflection f Ohio State’s physicality or was it more a reflection of Notre Dame’s defensive having no defensive linemen down on the right side of the line and Ohio State ran a off tackle dive at that exact part of the line ?
Its a reflection of we won, ND lost. We executed when tghe game was on the line , ND didnt. Our coaches coached right, ND coaches screwedthe pooch. OSU wins, ND loses. End of story........Next up, Maryland.

@@a.b9367 that was the Urban era, we long past that, and many of those games in those 12 years were actually close games, 2016 with the botched 4th down (JT was short) since 12 years ago (2011) Michigan won the 2011 game, 2012 and 2013, 2016 were 1 possession games. So yeah u blew us out in 2015, 2018 and 2019 but we blew you out 2021 and 2022
