Facts!! However, anti-blackness, self-hatred & self-loathing are at an all rine high in Black communities & households. I had a few I had to straighten out. Exhausting, hurtful & makes me so sad
You speak about your experience and you do not have to apologize for it. There are those who will try to control the narrative because they do not want to believe there is racial biases in America. I'm glad it was helpful, and I'm so happy you're enjoying my content. I am completely dairy, meat & egg free, but I will eat what my daughters & Mom cook when I am visiting. I honor their desire and need to break bread with me without burdening them to change for me to be comfortable. They love vegan food, but it isn't their lifestyle. My body will oftentimes crave a certain food. If the craving persists for several days I realize it is my body seeking thar food. I don't believe in denying my body the minerals & nutrients it needs. I'm grateful my body doesn't reject meat and make me sick. I have heard many vegan and plant based people have this happen to them when trying to eat meat again.
If everyone fights the prejudice ALL the time then maybe we’ll get to a place where we can all live free. You go girl. Probably not in my lifetime, but hopefully in yours.

Amen and I look and feel like you. I’ve been RVing since 2019. I have a UA-cam channel but not about my RV experience but mostly my dogs. I’m in sync with you and haven’t met anyone like you out here. I meet black peoples but they worried to much about insulting the white peoples. Me I’m about if you don’t want to know the truth you don’t want to talk to me. I’ve met a lot of white people out here and some are down to earth and we keep in touch. But mostly what I learned in my life is that an intelligent person knows it’s about what in that mind and not about the color of your skin! There’s alot of fakers and takers out here so when you meet someone go in with your eyes wide open, mouth shut and listen! What you see is not always what you get.
I am just being me and we have to stand up for our rights. The truth will shame the devil and set us free. I can't wait until my life settles down so I can create meetups throughout the country. BWWRV has chapters for this and we host 1-2 annual events as a whole.

I’m so glad you clarified your position but so sad that “we” still have to defend our experiences and perceptions. I’m so tired of others trying to invalidate our experiences because our reality makes them uncomfortable with behaviors and systemic processes that have historically and still to this day sustain racial and class disparities. Why must we continue to stay quiet and pretend our experiences don’t matter? I once had some people come for me for titling my video “Black VanLife” but I didn’t see any backlash when I saw other channels supported and celebrated for sharing their cultural nomadic experiences. And yes I’m down like 4 flat tires and ready to ride with you til the wheels fall off girl!!! I got your back, front and wherever else you need me to be! Thank you sooo much Tracey!!!

I just got a minivan and can't wait to get out there but honestly I'm somewhat apprehension about the van life community because there doesn't seem to be many poc. Seems to be a lot of white folk. I ain't trying to meet a bunch of racist. Any thoughts?
