I was watching your video and really vibing with what you were saying! I’m 59 and have been on this very journey you are describing. I felt that my body and soul would truly die, I drank so much that every ounce of who I was became numb!! I only wanted to lay down and hide from the world, my mistakes, my thoughts! So I did, I chose the serenity of nothing and silence!! The past memories did not serve me or make my life better so I left them behind while I addressed my needs and wants! After about two years I let parts of my past come back, I was finally calm enough to handle my fears, rage and losses… I am a white woman and I may not understand your pain but I’m willing to listen as long as there is mutual respect, when you said this channel might not be for me I sadly unsubscribed🥹

Hi I saw you on Tiny home and When I saw Married solo van life, I had to watch because that is going to be me, I'm married but he decided to not retire and continue to work, and I have wanted to hit the road for a few years now so I recently approached my husband and said How about I go alone and when and if your ready you can come with, but this is something I just have to do. Like you my kids are grown, but I feel that I need to do this and the call is so great for me to wait any longer so I'm going to head off sometime this summer after our house sells, It was so nice to see someone like me out there on the road. I see you as an awesome women who is living your and my dreams, maybe I will see you on the road! You are very inspiring!!

i found you channel through Tiny Home Tours, what you said in that video really struck a cord, and I jumper over here to immediately subscribe. This is the first video I am watching on your channel. Another one that just hits home. I've also been feeling some type of way and knew I needed some travel. my husband job doesn't allow for much travel AND he's a homebody and I've really felt stifled. I felt guilty about mentioning to him that I needed to have some me/travel time/self discovery time. I too, am a product of your same generation and there's such guilt by admitting we don't know who we, because we had to grow up too fast. I wrote down those two book titles and will definitely read them. Again, thank you for sharing your journey, it was nice to put a name to what I was feeling and to realize I do't need to feel guilty.

Just discovered your channel today and immediately subscribed. In 2020 I purchased a van, lived in for nine months but allowed the circumstances of our society to discourage me. I’m your mom’s age but despite giving up on Van life, I’m dedicated to learning about myself and divorcing the attitudes that kept me from getting intimately in touch with me. So much of what you shared rings true and what stands out for me most is I don’t need to carry the burdens of my children and grandchildren. Be well. ❤

It takes so much to unlearn these things but as long as we give ourselves grace we can do it! You're definitely unlearning it with what you're doing on your property.

I have said that to myself and others about being tired of working. Worked for pay nonstop since age 16 and It feels like I am wasting these years. It stays on my mind every single day how much I want out. Lining up my ducks now before I finally pick a retirement date and start that train. I will be 60 in December. I’m 65+. At 55 I visited Paris alone. I wanted to see the city & my husband didn’t want to go & I was tired of having him not want to accompany me. Other than that I’ve pushed “me” down for so long, I’m still learning what makes me happy & feeds my spirit. I’ve purchased a teardrop trailer so I can visit places on my bucket list. MF GOD: I actually feel closest when in transit, even riding BART to & from work.

Thank you for your concern. I am familiar with their story. However, they did some things that put them in that position. What happened was wrong, but they made some decisions that didn't help the situation.

@@LibertySerenity Yep, they said they had to siphon water out of their gas tank I think twice because they purchased bad gas. I went to Cancum 20 years ago, stayed at a 4 star hotel - I think Mariott & the staff & management stole my friends shoes, yes shoes, & my Chanel 80's Bomber Jacket. I couldn't believe it until my friend went nuts by going into the lobby & telling all the guests entering how her shoes were stolen by staff. Would you believe, the manager gave up her shoes & begged is both to please leave the front lobby & go to our room? I was baffled. I didn't discover my loss until I returned home. She later discovered her tennis bracelet was also missing. Unbelievable story unless you were there! JUST BE ALERT EVERYWHERE IN MEXICO, those people are desperate. My dad always said, "You have to think like a thief when moving in these streets."
I haven't watched the news for a year and a half, so I'm unaware of the tensions you speak of in our nation right now. I haven't given up on humanity, though. I will still cast my election votes 🗳 , in my pajamas at my dining room table if I have to, to contribute to the good. Your journey for self-discovery and expression is your right. And you're right to do it. Maybe your hubbie can fly out to meet up with you sometimes. That alone will add beautiful dimensions and new conversations for you both. From what you said about having your safety on lockdown, it may not be necessary to advise you on safety. But I'll say it anyway. Be safe.

I have said that to myself and others about being tired of working. Worked for pay nonstop since age 16 and It feels like I am wasting these years. It stays on my mind every single day how much I want out. Lining up my ducks now before I finally pick a retirement date and start that train. I will be 60 in December. SHE IS THE SMART ONE! SHE HAS A HUSBAND AT HOME. SHE CAN GO BACK HOME ANY TIME SHE GETS READY! SHE'S MAKING VIDEOS. THAT'S WORK. SHE'S WORKING! MAKING VIDEOS IS WORK! SHE'S GETTING PAID WHILE WORKING ON A JOB! IT'S CALLED CONTENT CREATING & GENERATING A NICE INCOME! DON'T FALL FOR THE OKIE DOK

I’m 65+. At 55 I visited Paris alone. I wanted to see the city & my husband didn’t want to go & I was tired of having him not want to accompany me. Other than that I’ve pushed “me” down for so long, I’m still learning what makes me happy & feeds my spirit. I’ve purchased a teardrop trailer so I can visit places on my bucket list. MF GOD: I actually feel closest when in transit, even riding BART to & from work.

When feeling scarcity: Visualize yourself in a Van, Traveling and Eating. ..Get out of your own way, do what you normally do and act as it. You will manifest from somewhere.. Money is not like musical chairs, there is enough for everyone. Self Care is the Best Care.. It Resonates Self Empowerment!!!

@@LibertySerenity Yep, they said they had to siphon water out of their gas tank I think twice because they purchased bad gas. I went to Cancum 20 years ago, stayed at a 4 star hotel - I think Mariott & the staff & management stole my friends shoes, yes shoes, & my Chanel 80's Bomber Jacket. I couldn't believe it until my friend went nuts by going into the lobby & telling all the guests entering how her shoes were stolen by staff. Would you believe, the manager gave up her shoes & begged is both to please leave the front lobby & go to our room? I was baffled. I didn't discover my loss until I returned home. She later discovered her tennis bracelet was also missing. Unbelievable story unless you were there! JUST BE ALERT EVERYWHERE IN MEXICO, those people are desperate. My dad always said, "You have to think like a thief when moving in these streets."
I haven't watched the news for a year and a half, so I'm unaware of the tensions you speak of in our nation right now. I haven't given up on humanity, though. I will still cast my election votes 🗳 , in my pajamas at my dining room table if I have to, to contribute to the good. Your journey for self-discovery and expression is your right. And you're right to do it. Maybe your hubbie can fly out to meet up with you sometimes. That alone will add beautiful dimensions and new conversations for you both. From what you said about having your safety on lockdown, it may not be necessary to advise you on safety. But I'll say it anyway. Be safe.
