I just finished my capturing today at the Alausa passport office in Lagos. My experience was pleasant but I'm surprised i wasn't asked to provide my personal documents like the ( Local Government Identification slip, The Birth Certificate slip and the Guarantors Form)

It took me Two Months to get my Passport

Hello, please will they check all the original documents before collecting the photocopies or it's just the photocopies they need. I'm asking this because i'm not sure where my original birth certificate is but i have the photocopy...every other documents, i have the original.

Hi...they would check Originals but if you have Photocopies that's Fine too.And if they ask,you can tell them what happened. But for Birth Certificate they need Photocopy.

If you have booked your appointment day,there is nothing much to do...you just summit the required documents.

Yes but it would cost you money
After payment online, i realized I made a mistake in the first name, what do i do to correct this b4 d appointment date
You can't do anything to correct it before the Appointment Day...But on the Appointment Day before you start the Process, Make sure you tell them about the mistake so it can be corrected.

Go back to the Website and look for it...Use your reference number.It's very important you get it and download it from the Site.

You need a Guarantor to get your Passport.
