This may or may not be sad however, I was never raised on fruits and vegetables and neither was my mom. So all of this is so unfamiliar to me. I’d love to go vegan, for a few different reasons. I thought getting food sent to me would be a good start, but I also don’t know how to cook and I’ve seen that with which mean plan you pick there is a few different options but one of them are “quick and easy.” I’m also extremely picky and I was planning on forcing myself to eat the meals sent to me or starve. That might seem stricked or mean but that is the self discipline I need to finally learn at age 19. I have no idea what I can eat or how to cook certain plants, and vegan meals. 🤷🏻♀️
I totally get it, I didn't grow up eating or loving a lot of veggies and the meals I ate were always animal-product focused. I think Purple Carrot would be good for you if you have some patience with yourself and take time with the meals. They are certainly designed so that beginners can cook them. There are other companies out there too but Purple Carrot is the only one I've tried. Good luck and let me know if you find something you like!

When does she say whats bad about purple carrots... for fuck sake
I had a terrible experience with Purple Carrot. My deliveries were always missing ingredients and the avocados were also black when they arrived. I tried canceling 4 times and they still shipped out boxes to me. They don't allow customer service phone calls, you can only contact via email. I am current in dispute over the autopay that I canceled multiple times. There are other vegan services with better produce and more effective customer service. Check out this company's yelp review, it is very poor.
Tiger Lilly ugh that sucks I’m so sorry!!! As I mentioned in my review, their customer service definitely left something (a lot) to be desired. I also saw the terrible yelp reviews with the issues with bad produce and missing ingredients. I think there were one or two times we were missing an ingredient; thankfully it was something we happened to have on hand. They definitely need to work out those kinks if they want to stand out above the other services! I’m curious what other ones you’ve tried and liked! ❤️
Sorry that happened to you!! They were really good when I dealt with them, I don’t know if you’ve gotten the issue resolved but if not, try getting onto the website and doing a chat with someone on the site rather than contacting by e-mail. They sent me a link and I canceled with no issues! I loved them but they were too expensive for me.
