    Spot on about the Clunk, so restrictive the turbine was sucking the UAT down quicker than the tank could replenish.

    Awesome!! I was hoping you would be doing the build of this airplane. I have been eyeing this model for a couple of years as my entry into RC Turbine Jets. Thank you...Thank you! wjm

    OMG! I freaked out at the 11 Minute mark or so. Before the remark.... you do great work and great videos... keep it up. I have seen handful of your videos all the way through, and am grateful... That out of the way.... I am more or less an expert in Adhesives- for more than 3 decades. Any kind of CA is NOT what you want to use to hold that Engine mounting screw. CA is BRITTLE, does not handle heat well at all, does not handle solvents or fuels well, and should never be used in a high vibration metal to metal environment (there are some exceptions, but it would take a while to explain that). Good Thread Locking compounds from Loctite and others that are meant for Engine Compartments really are worth it. If you don't have any of those handy, use a good Automotive grade High Temp Silicone-Adhesive/Gasket material. OK- keep up the good work, and thanks again.

      Thanks.
      Area around engine won’t be hot enough to do anything to the CA. In wood, it is absolutely the correct to use with wood screws.
      Generally I don’t use blind nuts to mount turbines but in the rare case we did than yes we would use blue loctite on the threads.
      Thanks for watching 🙌😎

    I don’t do jets, but for my vent lines, I just bend a tube up and then add a short piece of fuel flexible tubing. I let the tubing touch and bend below the fuel tank top wall. As long as the tube doesn’t kink, you’ll get max fuel fill without too much struggle to adjust the tube, never had any problem.

    • @thelightersideofrc
      @thelightersideofrc  8 місяців тому +1

      Yes great way to do it. Often needed if the bung fittings are center of tank. One important note is you do this is to cut a point into your flexible tube so it doesn’t seal itself to the top of the tank.

    Well that covered a lot of ground. Good call on the equipment tray as it would have looked a tad un tidy me thinks. It is a nice kit and pretty straight forward by the looks of it. Right NEXT ONE......... Keep at it and Carry on. ;0}

    As always, great video!
    This jet would be perfect for me.
    Not a foam waffle, but not exactly an expensive jet for 20,000 euros either!
    You're a really likeable buddy!

    Hey, I don’t understand why did you add addition switch to power on landing gear controller? You could just power LG controller after idms10 or not?

    • @thelightersideofrc
      @thelightersideofrc  8 місяців тому +2

      Yes but I want the gear controller to not pull power and amps from the dms10 circuit. I want it pull from battery.

    How much the build cost

    • @thelightersideofrc
      @thelightersideofrc  2 дні тому +1

      Not sure as it depends on what equipment you go with. Lots of variables there!

    Do you still use the solder sticks when building your rc aircraft? I don't hear you mention them lately

      @thelightersideofrc  8 місяців тому +1

      Yes you bet! They are no longer a channel sponsor but I still use them often!

    You're getting good at this stuff. But it's assembly with a twist with all king of good idea and suff. Way better than Bob Vila.
    Yet, i am sure lots of your viewers would love to see you do a scratch build. GT, EDF, or even a prop plane. 😊
    Until then, keep it up.

      If you crash tomorrow than maybe 1 day. If you take care of it and get services done at 25 hr intervals than hopefully years and years!

    Just curious why you dint install tank lines vertically?

    • @thelightersideofrc
      @thelightersideofrc  8 місяців тому +1

      Never do. I always run sideways but I suppose there would be no issue running up and down.
