Welcome to the fourth build video of the Hangar 9 CubCrafters XCub 60cc build, part of the Hangar 9 Back to Balsa Series! This video covers the installation of the horizontal and vertical stabilizer to the tail section of the fuselage. The proper hinging technique for the elevator and rudder is shown as it is very important to not get glue in the pivot point of the hinges and requires careful attention. There is also a tip shown in the video that makes the tail light wire routing through the rudder much easier! The elevator and rudder servos are also installed and hooked up to their respective control surfaces through the control rods and pull-pull cables. The tail wheel assembly and installation are also covered in this video along with the tail bracing.
