- Lots of shenanigans involving our little notchback aka FISHEYE THE DEER KILLA! First we teach Tony's nephew how the basics of street racing a stick shift car, then we get all of the deer damage fixed, and finally we see which one of our 4 cylinder mustangs is faster in a thrilling street race! The loser gets to put nitrous on their car and gets a rerun!

As a former mini stock driver and someone who has build one from the ground up there is some decent power over a long period of time to be found and had in the Ford inline 4 cylinders 💯🤷♂️

The. Turbo coupe T-Bird is the best way to get power out of this kind of engine, 1983 is a good year, those e yaer all forged part , pistons crankshaft and rods, vary tough, thanks BigAl California.

About 15 years ago i swapped a turbocoupe 2.3 and T5 into a 94 Ranger, that thing was a blast to drive! Had a manual boost controller set at 15psi, it was a fun truck for sure!!
I like you 2 People , I also like that white manual Mustang, its a classy, clean tough looking car.
When I first saw that car on it's disaster-ridden trip home, the look reminded me of the 5.0 LX's that the Connecticut State Police had back in those days. Theirs were an odd color blue, but the black rims and dog dish hubcaps gave it the cop look. I live in N.H. still, so if I won it I'd have to do the driving !! Maybe meet up at "Trails" again 🙂. Good to see you two living the good life !! Can't wait for the Coyote build. I was thinking it was gonna be a Maverick though ? Mustang suspension better suited ? You made your black car work though. Oh well, till next time !!!

I had a 2.3 00 with 315 hp on boron parts from eslinger engineering, cam and carburetor header, it was a mini stuck engine from a Santa Maria speedway, I had a 1976 ford courier, round E round truck, stick it was nothing like this ,lol thanks BigAl California

Its so awesome watching you and tony teaching him how to drive stick shift i just started learning how to drive stick too but my dad refused to show me how to do burnouts and launch 😂 im i glad i got to see how to do that but i do t plan on doing that to my dads car until i get my iwn manual car and can afford to burn out the clutch in the process 🤣

...honestly, was planning to use just due to lack of good converter (stock pinto converter/ GT35 don't work well together), but just a 50 shot down the whole track made me have to put a cage in if I want to run there again

Those cop wheels actually work on that car, my 4 cyl auto steed had 3.89 gears, that one sounds like its more towards 3.08 or so, the 5 speed car may be a 3.89 gear, the axle will withstand a v8 until you put sticky tires on it

You wouldn't think that a deer could do that much damage to the side of a vehicle, but I've had the very same damage done to a car from a buck slamming into the front fender...
It's a little better than a front-end impact, but it's still a mess... The antlers did bonus damage to my car.
Those little cars are awesome ive had a pinto 2.3l and courier truck and a handful of beat up ranger trucks. Are the mustang 4 cylinder 2.3 same as ranger truck engines?

2.3 content is cool (but slow 😂). I guess an N/A 2.3 can handle a 50-100 shot. The forged piston turbo short block is probably good for 100-200+ depending on what's done, 400 hp total. The stock turbo might not like it. The A4LD autos are very weak though typically as even the auto Tbird turbocoupes were detuned to 150 hp.

What year is the mustangs?? I’ve had two of them when I was first learning to drive and they were a ton of fun when they did run lol spend 23 weeks working on it. Maybe get a week on the road lol

He’s a big boy, his dad, Tony’s brother, got all the tall genes in the family.
I grew up in mustangs except those 300K mom put on a Fairmont Fatura but mom Loved her 91fox hatch but man that four banger was trash and pissed my parents off..never had any problems with it but the lack of power was real . She got a 94 with a six in it that would give a lot of V8s a run for their money.
