+Vegan Tina We are also breeding 70 billion land animals every year that eat more food and drink more water then humans.
We can allready live abundantly if we just switched to permaculture/food forests.
India,China and other overpopulated countries should maybe limit children to maximum 1 child per family..

Have we crossed the point of no return in terms of damaging the planet? There is no such point. We need to trust that our thought, which is our greatest quality, can change nature. We only need to understand the direction to which we should aim our thoughts. What should we think about? What condition or state should we aspire to and ask for?
In order to save our planet, we should think about positive human connections. That is, how can we, in our connections, keep nature safe? How can we all together protect our world? If we truly wish to better our planet, then we should see people holding a concern for how to positively connect everywhere that we look.
It has nothing to do with recycling or other activities that we commonly associate with as being sustainable. If we come closer to and consider each other, that we will reach an entirely organic, perfectly connected and round state, then the negative forces will disappear from the world.
We need to understand that if we start thinking better about each other, then the planet will recover from all harm, because our thoughts are the strongest force in nature. Likewise, our negative thoughts about each other are entirely to blame for damaging the planet. That is why the more we recycle and invest in energies and activities that we commonly think of as being sustainable, the worse our planet becomes. Nothing will work to benefit us until we reach a state where our attitude changes toward each other for the better to protect and improve our planet!!

animal agriculture in its current form, yes. Large herds are necessary for the sustainment of grasslands to prevent slow decay which kills grass and speeds up global warming. The amount of methane produced can be absorbed into the soil and used by plants if we took a more free range approach to cattle grazing. The problem is that its not very lucrative and American diets would have to become 80% plant based anyways because of how long it would take to get products to market. Not to mention the difficulty and social strain it would put on a new generation of cowboys. Of course, I would love to try my hand at it but I would have to find a way to use public land to have any impact and would have very low financial return. But shit, I loved being a ranch hand and im sure being a cowboy would be hella fun.

    • @ruthhawe7667

If humanity stopped breeding, raising and killing animals and were purely plant eaters there would be plenty of land left over to gift back to the remaining victims of our slaughterous eating habits. Land could be dedicated to animals, and rewilded to recreate the ecosystems all but destroyed by us. Forests would regrow like earth was prior to so much being cut down for grazing land, and these would greatly help the climate situation. Veganism is the only future worth living, for us as well as so many creatures threatened with extinction.

The title of this video should be "Industrial" as well, as smaller organic farms don't destroy nature. They actually re-wild nature when done consciously. So this infofilm is a bit too black & white.

  • @mitvelkez

Very slick video production but I didn't see a single scientific, peer reviewed paper cited anywhere. I'm not saying that what was said isn't true but give me some evidence, not rhetoric. Based on the lack of a citation this is just an assertion without evidence which can be summarily dismissed as such.
If I produced an equally slick video stating that animal agriculture is the only way to save the planet without any scientific evidence would you believe me. No, you wouldn't because it doesn't fit into your world view. So please look for evidence not just a nicely made video which agrees with your opinion.
