Courtney, you let everything look so easy. I am busy with an appliqué on my embroidery machine and wanted to cut the motive on plain 100% cotton fabric on my ScanNCut DX using the fabric blade on the fabric mat (all new - first time use). It only cut a small slit and then fumbled the rest of the fabric. Then I tried again adding Iron-on Appliqué Contact sheet on fabric, but the ScanNCut cut it out 3x. Then I tried it again - the fabric straight onto the fabric mat using the rotary blade (Rotary Auto Blade Kit - First time use as well - CADXRBKIT1). The ScanNCut asked me "Attach appropriate holder" It does not feel as if the Rotary Auto Blade "click" into the holder correctly and it does not cut the fabric at all. Please help me, because I am very disappointed with my ScanNCuts' performance on fabric.
Courtney, my scan N cut keeps giving me a message that says to use the 12 x 24 Matt, but I’m only cutting two hearts that are 2 inches. I’m so frustrated right now please help.
This technique is awesome. Thank you ❤
Mama Mia - so cute. Both you and the design. Thanks for sharing your time, talent, skill and inspiration.

Can you join the Brother ScanNCut with AllBrands After Hours facebook group so I can see a photo of what the screen looks like?
Maybe check your settings.
Why do you use the paper on…I typically put fabric up and heat and bond down without the paper
It’s just a habit you can take the paper off
