    Was super happy to see this new video. So glad you like the Title Form carbon bars.
    OneUp and Title are both Canadian companies. Both are made in Taiwan. Quality for both are amazing.
    OneUp obviously has a longer history and has a big lineup of products. Title is still new and slowly growing. They recently released their Connect pedals which look sick.
    Keep up the awesome videos. Love them!

    Not many reviews of the Title Form / Reform (depending on where you live, I'm in Europe and mine say Reform) so glad to see some love here. I really love these bars. Perfect amount of support vs comfort and they turn heads wherever they go due to the unique shape.

      Hi discostu! (love the name!) I have only had my bars mounted for 10ish rides and on at least 7 of them someone has asked my what kind of bars I have... definitely head turners. I really like the 9 degree sweep and so far they are not coming off any time soon. Thanks for watching and commenting and enjoy your Reforms!

    I just found this video, i have the lower version of your fork on my san Quentin with carbon bars and rev grips . I run about 30% sag with no arm pump and comfortable for a hardtail. Good info about the bars

    I've got the '23 Lyrik on my new bike. I've been riding Fox forks for the last 6 years and loved them. I'm having the same problem as you with the RS fork. I've adjusted the compression settings and tokens but it's just a harsh ride.

      Hey Joe! Man, I feel your pain and frustration. I tried everything that I could possibly think of and in every combination as well and there was always a compromise somewhere. If I got the chatter to feel kind of ,OK then it seemed to wallow. If I got mid stroke and ramp up dialed, then the thing rattled my bones and teeth like a freakin' jackhammer on the braking bumps. I'm 5 rides in on a 2023 Fox 34 Factory Grip2 and so far so good... I will have a video coming out in a few more rides. Thanks for commenting and best of luck getting your Lyrik dialed in!

    Yeah those p-12 trails can get a bit chattery so I understand your desire to dampen it as much as you can . For me it's finding the speed that balances out the vibration which is not an easy task as you know . Very informative Darrel .

    • @ThunderStruckMTB
      @ThunderStruckMTB  Рік тому +1

      Hey Steve! Great call on the speed vs terrain aspect and yes, it is so hard to get right. If I had to guess I would say 95% of my harshness is due to my 2023 RS Pike Ultimate. I never had this issue with any of the 3 Pikes and 1 Yari that I had over the years before this current version and it is so frustrating. I have tried every setting imaginable both to the air spring and the damper and I really, really dislike the way it handles small, fast chop. It's fine in terms of support and medium and big stuff, it's just the washboards and braking bumps that rattle my hands, arms and shoulders. The bars in this video definitely help and does my dialed front tire psi, but they can only help so much. Thanks for watching and please tell Carly hi from me!

    Hey Darryl. Good to see you are still at it riding and making purchases, although it seems you have been through the wars 🙈. I saw a local in country stockist had the Title bars, but the exchange rate is not kind here. They look the business though. Cheers!

      Hi Colin!! Yep been through some and might still have a big one coming up unfortunately. I'm betting the Title Forms are unbelievably crazy expensive there! @@ThunderStruckMTB all good here. A few days off and the sun is shining for a change. Just wondering, do you find your shock changes pressure between rides? I still use my Topeak for tyres and have been considering the new 'shuttle' version. A bit more expensive, but some tweaks over the std D2. I must admin I don't check my shock too often, but have been tweaking my Coast dropper pressure to find the sweet spot for my riding. SQ grips and bars going ok with new innerbarends integrating with the grip collar. Its a bit tidier and easier on the palms as the collar seemed to be in the wrong spot for me. The trail grips are a very different shape and I'm still getting used to them compared to my previous Ergons and then Revgrips. Not long till your big trip!

      @@colinl2908 I'd love to have your weather as it's going to be over 105f for the next 12 days! YES!! It is crazy just how much psi my fork will gain and lose depending on temperature. If I pump up the fork to 94psi at 6am when it's cool and then leave the bike outside all day, it will read 100psi when I reattach the pump (when it should read 92psi)... that is just crazy! If I did the opposite, then the fork would lose 6-7psi and that's why I always check my fork's (and tires) psi right before I head out for a ride. Most don't, but I'm sort of crazy I guess.😆 I'm hoping my new 2023 Fox 34 Factory Grip2 will sort out my harshness (video in a month or so) and if it does, I may test a few different grips to see if they might be the icing on the cake... YES!! I can't wait to come see where you and my daughter call home!

      @@ThunderStruckMTB that fork sounds the business too. My cheaper shock pump always shows less each time you connect, as it has to fill the line each time. Does the job though. You're not crazy checking often...you just want to ensure you have the best ride conditions every time. I think I'll need to check mine more often now. Cheers

    Try the SQLab carbon 12 degree 31.8 handlebar paired with SQlab 711 Tech & Trail 2.0 Grip. I went with it and its superb. Got rid of my 22 Lyrik after 6 months of trying to tune it to not be harsh, went with a Fox 36 factory (not easy to set up but when you get it right its so plush). In my 50s so need all the comfort I can get, just a suggestion, everyone has individual likings.

      Hi Nigel! I have heard really good things about the SQ Labs 12* bar. Colin has one and really likes it. My biggest fear is that I would lose too much reach with such a dramatic sweep, but I guess I won't know until I try. Misery loves company, so I'm thrilled to hear that you struggled with the Charger 3 Lyrik!! 😄 So frustrating, right? I'm on my 5th ride with a new Fox 34 Factory Grip2 and will have a video out shortly! (Spoiler alert, so far, so good!) I'm glad you are happy with your 36 and thanks for the comment!

    Did you swap out the Tenet pedals? What are you running now? I also noticed the carbon X01 cranks and a new colorful headset topcap?

    • @ThunderStruckMTB
      @ThunderStruckMTB  Рік тому

      Man Ray, you have good eyes! I unfortunately had my Omens develop side to side play in less than 100 miles. Tenet warrantied them and said it was the bushing, but the same thing happened to the fixed set. NDS pedal both times. So I went with a set of hope F22s because I had so much success with the F20s in terms of durability, I just didn't like their small footprint, but the F22s are about perfect.... Not as comfortable as the Omens, but close enough. I'm currently trying to figure out how to handle the Omen failure in terms of a video and as soon as I decide which way to go I'll put it out. The pink stem cap is from Bike Yoke and is my version of F^*# Cancer in tribute of my sister in law. The X01 cranks have been on for a while, but I did sort of sneak them on with no fanfare! Thanks for commenting and I can't wait to see your finished build!

      @@ThunderStruckMTB No way! I had the exact same issue a couple weeks back, and instead of going for a warranty replacement I ended up returning them to the shop I purchased from. Hence I went with the purple OneUp alloy pedals for my upcoming build.
      I really wanted the Tenet pedals to work out but that’s just too bad. They recently released Icon grips to match. I was looking forward to those but now that I don’t run their pedals, I won’t be getting the grips.
      On another topic, have you seen the new GX Transmission? Not a huge fan of the cranks but I do like the new placement for the battery. The Sage uses UDH but I will run X01 mech on it. I don’t think I’ll upgrade to Transmission.

    Hi, how does the oneup alloy compare to the carbon variant?

    • @ThunderStruckMTB
      @ThunderStruckMTB  5 днів тому +1

      Sup Dtran! So I installed them and did about 5 rides before reinstalling the Titles. They felt OK, but the OneUp carbon bars felt softer, deader and more damped. The OneUp aluminum bars aren't bad, but they are heavy (350ish g) and you can get lighter alloy bars from Tenet and for a similar price which is what I did. The finish on the OneUp's also seemed to mar easily compared to other alloy bars.

      @@ThunderStruckMTB I have it in a fox 38. 40lb was too light for me, I'm ~163lbs at the park. 45lbs holds up better. better support. I mean, the 40lb was awesome for general xc/trail riding because it was so supple - definitely would be good to have a dual-weight spring, like the bottom 1/3 coiled for 40lbs, top 2/3 for 45lbs.
      Title handlebar transmits different frequency of vibrations than the OneUp. Different flex feel too. I actually found the DaPackage that came with my Arrival to be the harshest feeling, but I think Dustin changed the carbon layup in the past couple years and I haven't ridden a new one lately.
