I got think knife way back, not too much to say about it. But it's a light knife. If you want a K-BAR but dont want to pay K-BAR prices, well... here ya go.
I bought one at big five in Colorado. In 2017 . At first I didn't realize it was a buck 119 . I chucked the box as soon as I got out of the door . Put it on my belt and went out in the woods . I didn't like the sheath so I modified it . I love the handle . When I returned home I realized it was a 119 .
Cool knife. I just bought one at a store here in Canada. They still have two more in stock. It should arrive Monday. I can't remember the name off hand but if someone's interested they can just Google it. I never thought I would find the 119 because I have the 117 with leather grip a few years ago.
@@johnbanco862 I'd go with the regular 119 special. The leather handle can twist under use and is less impervious to weather. Just sandpaper the grip to give a more secure purchase. I have one in s30v myself and its my favorite knife even though I have more expensive blades in "better" steel. Buck does a phenomenal job with their s30v.
This is a amazing piece brother, I would love to add this to my collection brother,

That blade is sick man
I like it! It looks awsome in Grey metal👍buck 119 brahma is the name
I like the stacked leather. If you have ever had blood on the regular 119, you would find It gets very slippery
Why are you trying your hardest to get your ring in the shot?
Very best sharpening knife.

rub that handle in either high quality oil for leather or coat it in marine varnish and it'll out live you
