I’m embarrassed I had to learn the true meaning of the saying, long after the first time I heard it… now I have hope for more folks like us to come to the same conclusion. 👍
Job well done (sooo many puns...butt I'll restrain myself, BTW: 10 extra gallons is something to grunt about). I love these instant access from anywhere applications that tell us what is happening onboard from bow to stern. I can really appreciate that you really do smart research. Into what is the best ROI bang for my buck technology. Here's to hoping Katie never retires...lol. Have a great week u2!
Our waste tank has been through a lot of sensors. Originally the resistive, debris messed with that. Then the ultrasonic, debris on the top and on the sender blocks signal. Then finally the pressure drop in Maretron. That has worked great so far, especially with our Maretron DSM410.
Any thought to running ultrasound on fuel and water and then pressure sender for black water? One FPM 100 per sender? Analog fuel gauges in the dash now just dead or replaced with other data like engine exhaust temp?
My waste tank sensor can be erratic at times but the tank is in a separate pump compartment right off the mid stateroom so all I have to do is open the door and take a look. Easy to see the level in a clear tank....💩💩💩
"The less you know about a problem, the easier it is to solve". That right there is GOLDEN!!!

Enjoy your thoughtful comments every time. 😀
That box should read Unlucky Charms! Great video, cool to see a lot of ideas that I'm thinking about actually in use.
There was nothing in that box that you you want to open 💩
Great video. Very helpful and well done video. Thanks for the instruction!

Very affirming and reassuring!! How long do you have on the pressure sensors?
I pulled the protective screen/tube off my float and it seems to work much better without it. Been like that for over a year now. Not a fun job.
That sounds like a cheaper fix…

Hi There, Would you mind sharing with me the year length and make of your vessel, Really like all I have seen.....Thank you!
We have a 2010 4800 classic Navigator
I like it, cool project! Well most of it…
😝
You must be "pooped" from all that work ... Good video
It’s a crappy job but someone had to do it 😀

That’s cool! I have to admit, I’m not sure I could stomach a clear tank with my constitution. 🤢
@@ElliYacht1 haha....by clear I mean white plastic. You can easily see the fluid level by not your dinner....🤔
