Shania really is the "Crossover Queen", scoring on the Country charts and Pop charts. For more fun with her, esp. for Lex, try "Man! I Feel Like a Woman". You might recognize it from several commercials.

This is not a crossover. Shania should have never been billed as a country artist. A true crossover, is the historic "Here You Come Again" by Dolly Parton. Shania was truly the start of the end of real country music. Now we have pop country, rock country, rap country.....it's sad.
Probably one of the best looking women to ever carry a tune that well! Stunningly beautiful looking and voice of an angel! She was Every blokes fantasy when I was a youngster.. great singer!

Shania's parents died in a car wreck. As a teen, she took on the task of raising her two younger sblings like singing in hotels and cruise liners. This song is her fantasizing about her parents' wedding day vows to each other
I was totally focused on her too. Wow ,she is so beautiful, and such an amazing voice and great song. Definitely one of my dreamgirls .

Her live performance of this at the concert in Chicago's Grant Park (July, '03) was outstanding. The 50,000 fans in attendance, who sang the last word of the song, when Shania pointed the mic towards them, apparently thought so, as well. It's on "the tube", in case you want to give yourself a treat at some point in the future. ( The whole gig was top-level)

Shania was harmonizing with herself, they had looked at a couple of male singers, but decided that Shania should do the harmony as well, and I think it works extremely well
That male singing harmony is named Bryan White. He used to be a somewhat popular country artist (like in the mid to late 90s). The album version of this song has him much more prominently showcased in the song. I prefer this version though, without him being as prominent.

I walked my oldest daughter down the aisle on her wedding day to this song instead of the traditional one. This is what she wanted and it was all about being her special day.

YES! Bryan White is amazing! You guys should react to him too. His song, "Someone Else's Star" is a childhood favorite of mine. He also did music for the animated movie Quest for Camelot. He preforms, "I Stand Alone" and "Looking Through Your Eyes" with Leann Rimes as well as a version with one of The Carrs

There is a duet version with Bryan White. It's awesome but this is the version that was released on the radio. The duet was on her album.
The duet version was what we used at the end of our wedding ceremony. We kissed and the words "from this moment" started playing. It couldn't have been timed any better. Funny note was that the pastor wasn't supposed to tell us to kiss until after this song but it worked out.

It's funny you should talk that this song reminded you of two people singing it. She did release a duet version with a singer called Bryan White.

Bryan White was singing background. When originally released, he had a much bigger part of the song. For some reason he was edited out of most of it later on and in this video version.
Growing up in Ontario this was the ONLY wedding song I ever heard. I will always be a huge Shania fan

I remember Shania Twain being so popular during the "Garth Brooks" years that Brooks and Twain even leaked into my world of music. There were a few years where you could be a child of Led Zepplin and Van Halen but still listen to the new version of country. Previously only the outlaws of country were respectable, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Sr. or Jr. and maybe Willie Nelson. Then Taylor Swift came along and turned country into a Kardashian type of circus.

I know I'm late to your reaction. But I wanted to respond to what Lex says at 3:04 when she brought up the prince coming in and singing to Shania. If you haven't done so since you made this video, listen to the album version of this song. It features country singer Bryan White who is the person that's harmonizing with her in the video. Throughout the album version Shania and Bryan take turns singing lines to each other, almost like they are taking turns singing wedding vows.
