- Join us as we visit Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo for the first time of many this year.
Folly Farm is most definitely Wales' best family day out and our absolute favourite local attraction.
We visited on a very cold day in January 2022 so it was lovely and quiet but most of the animals were keeping warm in their homes.
As you can tell by the title, Folly Farm isn't just a farm; it's also a zoo and home to an indoor vintage funfair. Along with beautifully themed play areas, it really is such a fun place to visit.

Thanks sue! It was a lovely day, freezing but lovely. It was so quiet, felt like we had the place to ourselves. Food was lovely and quite reasonably priced too. The goats were so funny, could have watched them play all day!
Such a cool attraction with the animals and the rides! I loved the footage of the sloth 🦥 There was quite a variety wasn’t there. Penguins aren’t very common in the zoos in the US. It’s nice that they give the animals an inside enclosure for when it is cold! 🥶
Thank you for watching. It's honestly a wonderful place, we go pretty much every month haha. That was actually the first time I've ever seen the sloths, they are usually snuggled in their beds so I was really happy to see it. Awh that's a shame that you don't get many penguins in the US, they are such funny little animals.

So I thought you were stood in the field with the wild dogs 🤦🏼♀️ then I saw the reflection of the glass. Some great animals looks like a great place to visit and the food looked delicious. The indoor area has so much going on. Love sloths they really amaze me I’d like to come back as one. 🧡
Honestly, it's such a fab place and they are currently pouring a load of money into the place too which is lovely to see. Been visiting since I was small and it's amazing to see how much it has changed. We love it there.
