We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and wanted to do something special.
We booked a Standard King Room With Balcony (Bay Facing) and we also had a 3 course evening meal and breakfast included in the price.
Watch for our honest review and opinions on this hotel. Is it truly a 5 star experience?

Happy anniversary! Oh my goodness what a view! Love the tea tray selection ❤. I like the colour scheme too. A phone next to the loo, super handy 😂. The food looked incredible. Really does look like a lovely stay, I think that is a good price especially with the meal included ❤
Thanks Anna 🥰 yes, the best tea tray selection! It was really beautiful, I thought the decor was gorgeous. The phone tickled me. Handy if you do an Elvis, I guess 🤷 I agree. It's definitely a good price considering everything that was included. We'll definitely go back
Very Fancy, How the other half live 🤪 Not jealous much 😂 Happy Anniversary 🥳🎉 again, sexiest room ever 😜 never heard a hotel room been described as Sexy 🤔 but now I want to book a sexy room, next time I’m on the Travelodge App I’m going to type that in as a request 🫢🤣 Great Touch having the free water & it was the best from Yorkshire 💧👍🤩 The view was amazing, way too posh for us Stakesy’s 🫢 The food looked delicious too & all for a great price, maybe I will have to start saving for our 25th anniversary 🤔 Thanks for sharing another lovely video with us, have a lovely weekend ❤🫶🏴xx
Haha I know, well posh init! Oh please do search for a sexy room, I want to know what results you get. Yeah I was wondering why there was Yorkshire water because our water is supreme! The view was just wonderful and the food was divine. I thought I would be starving because I'm used to having a plate full but it was very filling. Definitely worth considering if you can do the package with the food included. Thanks for watching Paul 😀 xxx
Hi Stacey and Craig, what an amazing hotel. Looks fabulous. Your room is wonderful. It's great to have a bath and a shower but your right it could have been cleaned better. The view is stunning and it's good you had use of all the facilities. The food did look delicious. Looked lovely outside at night. Pleased you enjoyed your anniversary. Have a wonderful weekend. Hi both ☺️ thanks for watching. It was a really lovely room and we didn't want to leave! It definitely needed a bit more attention to detail with the cleaning though. The view and food was just gorgeous. We'll definitely be going back. Hope you're having a lovely weekend xx

What a beautiful hotel, I would love to stay there with that amazing view 🩷 stunning. Food looked delicious. I think that was a very good price for what you got. I top my Nespresso pod up with boiling water from the kettle unless im having a latte. Them original line machines only get you half a cup lol xx
Lush isn't it! It's definitely somewhere I'd recommend booking if you are ever in the area. I could have looked at that view all day! Food was divine 😋 absolutely gorgeous. Haha honestly, as soon as I saw the Nespresso machine I thought about you! I was considering messaging you to ask how to work it 🙈
Hi Stacey, I am glad you both had a lovely time at the St David's Hotel. I have stayed there a few times and like you chose the rooms with a view of Cardiff Bay which is so lovely and peaceful. I have enjoyed the pool and sauna areas too but have not eaten dinner in the restaurant yet. I think you got a really good deal. A shame about some of the minor issues etc in the room. I hope they take note of your comments which were quite fair. The mini Welsh cakes are fun as you say.
Hi Alysia 👋 the restaurant was so nice, the food was delicious. If you get a chance to go there again, I'd definitely recommend eating there. The rooms are gorgeous aren't they, and very comfortable. I had to point out the little issues though, and they were minor but I did expect a bit of a higher standard in a 5 star hotel. I'd definitely stay there again though. Thank you for watching.
