I have his first appearance in Saga Of The Swamp Thing #37, 1985 written by Alan Moore and drawn by Stephen Bissette and John Totleben. It was signed by Stephen Bissette when I saw him at the Heroes Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was very nice & loved to talk about Swamp Thing and John Constantine.
