Captain Fred is such a treasure, and he was very kind to our daughter last year. He let me fly my drone around Columbia Glacier, and when I ran into some issues, he literally TURNED the boat around so I could land it safely! Valdez was our favorite place in Alaska, and Wrangell St. Elias was our favorite national park there. I agree that taking a trailer to McCarthy is less than ideal, if you can avoid it, but Kennecott Mine and Root Glacier are incredible! We can't wait to see what you guys did there. 👍
Your videos and photography are SPECTACULAR ❤️❤️ Being disabled, watching your channel gives me the opportunity to see and travel the states...THANK YOU. Merry Christmas to you and your girls 🎄⛄🧑🎄⛄🎄
We are so excited you are cruising to Alaska. We will already be in Alaska for the summer and during the time you are cruising! Wish we could join you! We are hoping someday you might do a European Christmas Market tour or cruise, we would LOVE to join you on that type of adventure!!!! Loved all your Alaska adventures, Corey is an amazing photographer, Jessie you are an inspiration, your family is amazing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to your family!
Great video. Great views. Camped many times at Baxter and many hares hopping around our campsite. The very first time camping at Baxter with Maine outdoor adventure club, We were getting ready to hike Katahdin (5am) and a bear came up behind my jeep (where I was eating breakfast) and grunted at me. I think he wanted my peanut butter and bagel. He grunted and I stamped my foot on the ground and pointed to the woods told him to get. He ran Into the woods. I was teaching 8th grade at the time. Not much difference.
Great video and beautiful area and scenery!! Happy holidays and Christmas to you all. Have a good evening and weekend and week ahead. Take care and god bless.
I was deer hunting one day, back when bear season first opened in Arkansas, and a black bear walked right underneath the tree I was hunting from. I could've killed the bear legally, but I had no need for the bear. So I let it walk on.
I think UA-camrs in this space get together and do the same thing each year. One year it’s Canada, then it’s the West Coast, then it’s Alaska, then it’s Florida, and then it’s the Northeast. You guys are literally in the same spots almost at the same time, or likely at the same time and just post at different times. I find it hilarious.
Glad you finally found a bear, and a whole lot of other wildlife too! Stunning views. That road would be an absolute NO with our Airstream. Good to know! - Jim & Michelle
What great scenery! I’m so glad you got to see a bear. We got skunked this year when we were there. I noticed when you jumped in on real time that you still have your reflection and Denali. Are you still getting a new rig?
We live in Juneau, if your cruise is through Southeast Alaska the September weather will be a bit wetter than these videos, I hope your family has a blast up here next fall!
The problem with not bringing your RV there (for the majprity of RVers) is you'd have to do the round trip all in a day otherwise, unless you stayed in the lodge, which is not pet-friendly.
I have been watching your videos for some time and normally love them. This one was an exception. The wildlife interaction was way too close and you put that bear at risk. We see bear euthanized every year here in the Smokys because of tourist that don't understand to allow the animals there space. This one in particular was a bad decision, you have the equipment to get great pics from a safe distance and you still encroached upon his space while he was feeding. Probably will be an unpopular comment but it doesn't matter. Give the wildlife its space and enjoy from a distance.
When I was a kid, we had a pop up trailer. One afternoon, I was inside th folded up trailer, retrieving the things for lunch. My father suddenly told me to get out of the the trailer and back in the car. My sister spotted the bear, got in the csr and loced the entire family out.

Did the cruise this past August, went to the same 3 AK towns, great weather was 60-70 degrees and sunny.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Wow up close and personal for sure.
Question on your route have you been able to get wifi without using any devices?

❤ holy cow that sea lion or whatever was huge
I am on that exact cruise the week before.

Beautiful video! Thanks!! NNTR
Key west and all those chickens roaming around lol
The sound of the river would be an outstanding white noise to see to.
The advantages of having a loan RV that you don’t have to repair. That’s the only way I would go to Alaska as I full-time in my motorhome.
Trifecta!!!
Great 🇺🇸 as always 🇺🇸 👍 😊
