@@anironfarm6056 i mean there are already songs for the secret levels (like 4-S) that arent on any bandcamp osts so i wouldnt be surprised if he was composing more for 7-S and 8-S
I can see this as the post credits room you spawn into at the end of ultrakill. A bunch of screenshots and display models of old designs for weapons and. Enemies while this plays in the background. A few terminals with some of the struggles with implementing certain things from hakita and a big thank you for playing the game.
I could see this being a pov where you float through different rooms, and every now and then you see a really fucked up looking room and the breakcore starts
I listened to this when I was sick from a random virus and this EP entranced me and I just kept on listening to it throughout the day. I really love this EP.
Looking forward to this EP was what got me through a really, really rough week. Thanks Hakita! It's great to see such a graceful return to a more subtle style for this one! I often play ambient music in the background while doing something else, but this is so easy to get lost in by itself. It's so relaxing to just close my eyes and let the synthpads and relaxing melodies wash over me. Wonderful art by Francis too! It feels somehow even more surreal than most vaporwave art while simultaneously feeling more like a physical space. It perfectly fits the music!
This is absolutely beautiful. About 2 minutes in I just feel my whole body and mind destress. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world Hakita.
It's very inspiring to see how much you've expanded your skillset over time in regards to making music. Intrigued to see what tunes you've got in store for us next
I will be forever impressed by how flexible your style of music can be; getting some strong desert sand feels warm at night vibes from the sounds of this album and I'm really digging it.
I love this. I'm not even that far in. I love it so much. Vaporwave hits a spot in the feels for me and always puts me in a peaceful mood. Thank you, Hakita
Just clicked on the vid and thought "Oh cool another hw playlist". And then i scrolled down to the comments, seeing people mentioning hakita. I thought the comment section was just glitched, but nope - hakita dropped an effing vaporwave album. I freaking love hakita.
Hakita's ability to create great music never ceases to amaze me. Standalone from ULTRAKILL I'm sure a lot of us here would've come here and came to the same conclusion. Phenomenal work
As a huge vaporwave fan and its many niche subgenres, this was awesome to hear. Haven’t listened to any ambient vaporwave in quite some time, but this was very refreshing! Progression kind of reminded me of Voyage Futur and the sounds of the songs made me think of Eyeliner. Good stuff, and I’m always thrilled to hear what you put out next, Hakita! If you find solace in this kind of music, don’t be afraid to do more whenever you want.
@@vlad980 I don't mind too much, personally, but it can make it seem like people only care about Ultrakill and not anything else Hakita makes, or that his other works can't stand on their own merit because people will bring up the game even if it's irrelevant to what's being discussed. Regardless, like you said, he made the coolest game ever, so this kind of thing is bound to happen, not out of malice or disrespect, but because people just like the game a lot. Rant over.
I love and I'd love to hear more when you can, it's important to take a break once in a while and do something else you love. I love this whole album it gives me a feeling of genuine safety and I'd love to hear more. Keep riding on and stay safe.
one of the most relaxing, chill, and beautiful albums my ears ever heard, and its by the same guy who made PANDEMONIUM. Hakita... you are a genius amongst humanity.
Ok... I know your Ultrakill numbered series usually covers the game design progress. Now I really want to see one that shows a song as done in your DAW.
the more you listen to "The World, and so much more," the more sad it gets after realizing that the game is over once the game gets its final update. an amazing game, with memorable characters, perfect use of guns, just all fun until theres no more left to ultrakill. ever since i saw my friends play ultrakill on discord i thought "this is a really cool game, i should play this soon" i never regret buying the game after that. i might even be surprised for hakita to create a sequel to ultrakill, but when theres bloodthirsty robots in hell, the fire is gone
Ever since I first heard ”A thousand greetings” and “Sanctuary in the garden of the mind” I knew that Hikata could potentially make some really dope chill music one day. I did not suspect that day would come so soon or that he’d do it under the guise as one of my favourite music genres. Thank you, funny robot game man. Very cool!

my favorite game of all time
i love the music too
well done very nice
Seeing Hatika excel in so many different fields without becoming a bad person is inspirational.
in four days we find out hakita powers his creativity through child kidney tonics
The Meatgrinder level is inspired by what he does to any orphans he finds in the streets

the kanye of gamedev lets just hope he doesnt follow him exactly
Honestly what he makes is very good but he's a bit too brash and sassy sometimes
And the best part is he used this for an actual virtual museum
Hakita's great HALL OF SHAME: THE ULTRAKILL DEVELOPERS.
THE SCROLLS WERE TRUE!
The Ultrakill museum is real!
who could've expected this to be a hint for the next UK update
That and the textures making a reprise in violence
Britain is getting updated? Thank god, it’s a shithole.
A Ultrakill stage in the style of vaporwave would be so cool.
Likely would be a secret level
