For live bait the best are cigar minnows or herring. The best artificial would be a size 14 X-rap, color glass minow or white ghost. Make sure to use a metal leader. Tight lines
Use a bubble rig and a 1oz gotcha plug, you can find them at tackle shops in destin. You can also freeline a bait with a size 3-4/0 treble hook, #45-65 7 strand wire and a cigar minnow. The fish you will find are Kingfish, spanish mackerel and the occasional bonita. Fish the early mornings before the sun is up, until day break and late afternoons. -Aloha

What are those clear sinker looking items
KeenAn Murphy they are bubble floats that you fill up with water to add weight. It also helps give action for the rig bubble rig.
Great video!

New videos are a good option
I’ve fished on that same pier for 3 days now using shrimp as my bait and haven’t even gotten a bite, what bait did you use?
Go to the first gut and watch for reds and pompano running up the beach. Use gotcha plugs or freeline cigar minnows for kings and Spanish.
What type of guides are those on your spinning rod
They are cobia guides and that was a tarpon rod.
What that rod is it costume
The rod in the beginning was a custom rod!
