- The Forever is Tomorrow Foundation is launching "Living Donor Stories" a companion series to our "This is Kidney Disease... This is Life" series, this series will tell the stories of living kidney donors, our first episode features Leah, take a few minutes and hear her about experience donating a kidney.
The first 3 episodes of the "Living Donor Stories" series made possible thanks to a grant from the NC License to Give Trust Fund Commission. Look for more episodes in the near future and more to follow as we grow our resources to be able to focus more energy on filming and releasing greater amounts of content to raise awareness, educate the public and support current patients and their loved ones with inspiration and hope!

Thank you Leah for sharing. I may be donating in the future and I'm trying to learn as much as possible. I learned 2 new things watching this video - 1) I did not know what 'hand assisted meant' and 2) donors go to the top of the list if they ever need a kidney.
