One thing you could do is pre weight your wood blocks. Then just weigh your wood blocks after eggs are laid and subtract the first weight to estimate how heavy your eggs are. That way you don’t need to scratch the eggs off to see how heavy they are.
And it can process 5 to 7 kg of waste daily. So if you have 1,000 kg of market waste daily, you will need blank kg of larvae or blank grams of eggs. Very informative video. Thank you so much for sharing your precious time. Love you guy. Following from the Philippines.
This has been very helpful. I have recently purchased 1500 larvae, I’m having issues knowing when it is ok for them to leave my bin. Some are black and some are white but they excape my bin. I am trying to hatch eggs right now
Good day, excellent job what you do, I wanted to ask how much is the percentage of organic fertilizer that it produces with respect to the material with which it feeds the larvae. Thank you.
You make a very good point about the nutrition the Larva need to grow strong and healthy. The Flies are living creatures and requiere proper care to live a prosperous life cycle that we can benefit from.

Only bsf can't be feed for 🐓, the amount of protein u can get from bsf magot is around 40-52% CP so they needs the other ingredients like carbohydrates , minerals and vitamin s
Hi brother i have been following your video from couple of month and is very knowledgble. I am just curious to have more knowledge on to attract BSF and its production and average waht sort of waste can produce 10 kg of live larva.ciuld you make us in written please.
Hello ,I am a Namibian ,I'm not sure about that kind of fly in our country, but if I can recall at my Jung aged I so fly's like that black soldier fly's in our country ,is it possible that that black soldier fly's also exist in our country?
What use is the larvae? For feeding the chicken we use to harvest the larvae at the age of 15-18days The weight isnt always the same, different food result different weight, for accelerating the weight, using over ripe fruits is preferable and cost cheaper.
thanks for the video information very usefull, btw better say (KG) "kilos" or "kilogram" instead of speling the letter :) because when you say just "K" you refering to units like for example: 2k is diferente from 2kg, so 2k means 2000 units and 2kg (kilos) means a weight measurement unit hope this helps to avoid misundertood
Thanks so much! I am trying to perfect my house/medium scale now so that I can go to production scale in USA. I have found your videos really helpful. I have a self harvest setup right now but I am struggling with breeding. I can get wild population eggs easily but I would like to be able to do captive breeding effectively to support a larger scale in the next step. Rice husk is not cheap here and I am wondering what I should be using instead? ( as an attractant)
Thanks for your info bro. I just need to know how you manage to keep the ants away. I can see that you have the bio pond on the floor. It would be impossible for me to imagine such a bio pond in my place without ants.
@@shelleyrubanmillion If you looking for non toxic method, then you can try this method, a bit expensive in construction. Construct 3inch width cement trench all around the Bio-pond and fill it by water. So the ant kind of things can't enter in to Bio-pond.

Can use chicken manure(fresh chicken poop) as attractant.
black soldier flies tend to lay eggs nearby rotten and fermented fruits/veggies. maybe you can try using them instead.
U can. But manure's smellneasy to gone when it become dry
Nice video, your country name please.?
Adi, im from Indonesia
My frend what u use feed for adult female bsf thanks
BSF adults don't eat,they just live on water alone
how much food and time required to produce 10 kg alive larway...and 10 kg alive larway = how kg dry larway?????
70K how much Gramms of larvae?
So 2.5grams of eggs will give 10kg of larvae and 70kg of adult larvae

Ants hate vinegar smell.
Perhaps "painting" the legs of the bin can help
You can also put your bins on a furniture with raised legs. Below each one put a pot with water, thus preventing them from rising
Hi,
Did you mean 2.5 gr eggs makes 10 kg larve and it makes 70 kg prepupe?
I have the same question, but when I rewind, I believe he said that 1 kg of larvae is 7k larvae (I believe 7000 larvae?) tho it’s still not clear
2.5 grams eggs makes 10KG of Larve (15 days old).
2,5 gr of eggs makes aprox. 70000 larve (10kg in 15th day) but it depends your care. Feeding, heat, moisture, technique, changes the amount and kg.
And I have adult fly's but how many times I give a drink to fly's
(Haney mixed woter)
What about your E-book
I'm confused its 10k or 70k? he says both.
This bug useing fish feed?
* 2.5 g eggs = 100 clusters = 10 kg larvae = 70,000 larvae;
* 10 kg larvae needs 5 to 7 kg/day food
* 1 cluster = 500 to 900 eggs or 700 eggs.
* 1 kg larvae = 7k larvae = 10 cluster.
How about the food is it 7kg per day? To produce 10kg if larvae?
@@billyroaalavarez2634 yes
5 to 7 kg food initially but how much food after like if larvae is 10 days old or 12
