It’s lovely! I bought 2 Boston ferns already after telling my self they are to work for an old lady with broken hip and when it healed crocked have my right leg about 1 1/2 shorter than my left. March 26 I fell in my bathroom I had seizure and now have broken left wrist. Life is so fun these days, never a dull moment! Enjoy you so you are like a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work!!!

You always inspire me! I am 73 and use a walker but with my husbands help I painted a picnic table , 2 small tables and an old bench that had been my Late Mother in laws wash tub bench. It now holds flowers by our back door. Thank you Mary! You are the best!!

Spray your outdoor pillows and cushions with a water protective sealant, The kind that’s used to keep tents and shoes waterproof. Works great!

@@candlewoodfarm Go to a ski shop or outdoors/hunting section at any department store and they will have the spray sealant. Different brands all work the same. I use it on my hiking boots.
I love everything about this!! Not just the furnishings and beautiful, serene decor; but also the music, her hard work, son helping. Coordinating of colors and items was superb.💞💞
I also have birds that recognize me and call to me. I put out peanuts every morning for the blue jays so they don’t eat up all the small feed and, if by chance I’ve forgotten, they will see me in the window and scream (lol) at me until I throw out the peanuts. They also, recognize me outside and call to me. I feel so blessed to have the birds take to me.

This may sound completely random but I LOVE how you say, "my son is so kindly putting this together for me" - I know you have said it before in response to hubby doing something as well. It reminds me so much of my dad who used to say similar things using the word "kindly." He would always say, "Thank you very kindly"

What a gorgeous, peaceful retreat in the perfect sitting. We used to have a male cardinal that would tell us when he needed to be fed. He would even meet us by the car when we would come home and then fly back and forth until we went to the back of the house. Birds are smarter than most people realize ❤️❤️❤️

Try the vacuum seal bags. It also makes it easier to put cushions back in covers. I guess you have to get water repellent. I think they make a spray that is water repellent too.

It's so nice to have a wild bird as a pet. In my garden I had Robin's nest under my kitchen window flower box. There was 3 babies, one of them i was able to hold for few seconds then he flew out and I believe he is the same young bird coming back from time to time to pay visit in my garden. Love wild birds. We feed them this winter and I think birds are more used to us.

Everything look's great Mary. I also have a Mocking Bird that I put suet out for him/her not sure and he/she will sit on the pole outside the porch and look in when the suet it empty and patiently wait for me to fill it. They serenade me when I am working out in my yard. Sitting on my porch and watching the birds is so relaxing to me. Enjoy God's creation so much. Have a Blessed Day!💗🐦

Mockingbird’s are my favorite! Do your’s sing at all hours of the night sometimes? I once counted fifteen different songs! What a transformation! When cleaning my outdoor furniture for the season, I always use a broom on the underside of the sofa, chairs, and ottomans to clean out any spiders, eggs, insect eggs, and webs first to ensure no overwintering spiders crawl out on my guests. No screaming friends 💕 🕷️

The name Ruby has been on my heart this am. I had a precious grandmother named Ruby.
She is an amazing and talented woman who takes what she has and turns it into gold! i love her inventive ideas and how resourceful she is; she is an inspiration to so many!!! I am in awe every time I watch her videos. What a beautiful haven she has made for her family outside and inside using the resources that God gave us with nature. Love the sound of a fountain or waterfall! My son built a pond and waterfall in the backyard and we put in some Koi fish..love it!!! In Calif, we don't get inclement weather so I don't have to deal with the rain from May til like November...but we don't get the seasons either..I love to see the seasons!!! We live near the beach and ocean and I need the sun..but God's beauty is in everything and everywhere..it's what we make it..

I believe the issue with the water in your cushions is due to the foam filling. There is a special foam just for outdoor use which I believe allows the water to flow through and not absorb it. May be worth looking into.
It's a fine quality foam cushion, I'm sure. But it is only meant to be used indoors. You're right, the water flows thru the foam cushions made for outdoor furniture use.
Lovely project! It is an everyday getaway. You and the Peddler = win-win. You both share ideas, bring customers and advertise. They sell and hopefully ship and handle most paperwork.

I absolutely love my propane tank patio fire pit. I bought one last year. It's on our back deck and with the comfortable thick cushioned patio chairs all around it, it's worth every dime. Everyone always looks forward sitting around it after dinner and looking at the fire. I upgraded the lava rocks it came with to Caribbean Blue reflective glass. Fabulous! We get many compliments. I wish all many good years in enjoyment of one of these units.
