Excited to follow your journey, along side mine, im hoping that sub 4 for my first Marathon isn't to ambitious, i have ran a half marathon in 1 hour 42 so i feel like with a good training block i can do a sub 4, only one way im gonna find out.
@WildOutdoorLiving yeah that time was in April, I've just been ticking over doing like 12, 14, 16k every Sunday, but my actual training block starts in a couple of days.
Hey man, just saw your video. I'm also training for a marathon (first one) and the goal is also sub 4-hours. I don't really know how realistic it will be. My situation is kinda similar to yours, ran about 6 months to be active and now for these 3 months i'm following a plan to get myself ready for the marathon in march. My running week is different from yours though, I think i run for a lot longer but fewer days per week (then again you got 2 more months to get ready so you probably will stack those miles per week soon). Good luck man! Will try and keep watching your vids.
Today I started a training plan for my first marathon ever, 13th of April, my goal is just to finish around 4:30hrs, last week I tried a half marathon distance out of the blue and took me 2:09hrs, but because it was improvised I didn’t had any eater or gels so I did struggle the last 2ks, I think that if I was prepared it would had taken me about 1:50hrs, I hope I do well, good luck in your marathon, I will subscribe to follow your journey.
Bro, we started training for the marathon at the same time with the same goal :D small world.... Gonna follow your journey. I will run my 21km on April 13th. This is the first time I will run longer than 11km :D Good luck to you, I believe in you, we will do it!
Way to bust out those 23 miles! You made that look easy 💪 keep up the good work and you’ll hit your goal no problem at the BMO marathon. I like the new content!
Let's Goooo!! Feels embarrassing to say that my longest is 5k.. 😂 But that's the most I can train for rn.. 🙃 Ps Hi Josh's dad!! (He looks so proud of you 😇)
Nice video - training for a marathon a week before yours, so I'll be following along for the journey - best of the luck with the training 💪

You should be able to go sub 4 no problem with that half time! (assuming you do the long run training)
