  • There are two ways to take off the faulty Oil Pressure Sensor.
    (a) the official way which involves removing parts so your ratchett can access the tight space OR
    (b) using this home made tool and long screwdriver without the need to remove any part.
N.B. Always do an Oil and Oil Filter change at the same time

Creative homemade solution, thank you for tht ...often at home we have to improvise , we normally not blessed with a large comprehensive tool chest ...

Thank you for your contribution , but i say tap it,....not 'hammer' in the video. the tool is just used to crack it loose so you can use your hand to remove the old and place in the new then tap it after you get it hand tight to tighten it beyond hand tight. no need to remove any other parts at all.

You are not showing where the sensor is located. I have to change mine.

@Derek Anthony Farmer I found it in the mean time but can't really access the 2nd nut around the starter as this pressure switch is between the Starter and the block , don't even feel the shape of a nut in the back... looks actually like a hard job just because of that. removing the switch would be strait forward if the starter was removed. Not sure that is the problem anyways as it is not leaking from there and has been changed 2 years ago.

Firstly, good luck with swinging a hammer (no matter how small) in the tight confines of 9/5 engine bay!
Second, why oil and filter change? Unless it’s due, of course!
