The ritual of smudging is sacred to indigenous folks, so if people are going to get sage, either grow it yourself and harvest it, or make sure it’s ethically sourced. White sage and Palo Santo are both endangered. There are great alternatives, like garden sage, lavender, mint, rosemary, pine, etc, and plants local to the area.
I’m in the greater Seattle area as well, so we’ll find a lot of the same plants that can be used to smoke cleanse.

These are all beautiful! My only note would be that you need to add a carrier oil in with your essential oils or the oils sit on the water and can burn the skin.

If you don't have a bath you can use these as an aromatic foot bath. You will still get the benefits. 💦
Use in shower for a foot scrub or add with soap and use as a body scrub. Or simple place a little in the shower floor for an aromatic shower, I do this for eucalyptus and spearmint.

Love the idea, but the sea salt needs a bit more something to make it really a bath salt, and that is epsom salt, the main ingredient of a mixture like this. But I guess it works like this too, it's just not going to be that beneficial. Many hugs, you are my fav youtuber right now, nonetheless! :)

hi there, I was wondering if regular cooking salt or Himalayan pink salt would work as well? I don't mind if the benefits are lessened, just want to make sure I'm not putting harmful products in a bath 🙂
@@roseli222 I wouldn't use regular cooking salt/table salt because of the chemicals, but Himalayan salt and sea salt are really good to use because they're natural.
