I'm honestly still not sure what that Alister ending is meant to even suggest: it's not just the green eye, you can see the Master Detective's reflection in it. Something definitely changed in GrandMA's writing plans after this game since they did something entirely different with the whole new timeline business 3 games later. Thanks for the playthrough btw!
