Guenet Abraham, 2022 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Alumni Ambassador

Born and partly brought up in Ethiopia, Fulbright Scholar Guenet Abraham returned to her home country for the first time in 42 years during her Fulbright grant.
During her trip, she taught at Alle School of Art and Design and engaged the community through collaborative art projects. In collaboration with the art school director, Guenet proposed the first public museum dedicated to modern and contemporary Ethiopian art, which was later built by the prime minister's office.
