Driver and loader are any rank from Fuzzy (E-1) to Specialist (E-4). Gunner is usually a Sergeant (E-5) but in some cases they can be any lower enlisted from 1-4 as well. The TC is also usually a Staff Sergeant (E-6) but can be a sergeant if they are short handed. I’ve seen other NCO’s drive their tanks before though because sometimes it just feels good to get back in the drivers hole but that’s only on little occasion.
We listened to this before hitting Fallujah in 2004. Operation Phantom Fury. God bless you tankers, stopped us grunts from having to go into some really bad places. Send two rounds through a house, and those boys loose their want to fight
Welp, can't really blame the boys, hah. I would also just pick up the pile of poop I made after an element of Abrams tanks fired at my position and then I would just peacefully got the fuck out (while crying I think).

Any military personnel either active or retired who are able to confirm or deny that music is/was played over speakers during active engagements within vehicle intercoms?
Commander, this is a very long ride can we at least add in music? Sure, just don't be distracted stay focused during the deployment. Alright, we got the music and were ready to roll.
