Why dont we say son nuclei instead of daughter nuclei That's a great question! The term "daughter nuclei" is a historical convention that dates back to the early days of nuclear physics. The term "daughter" was chosen to describe the resulting nuclei because it implied a sense of inheritance or succession, as if the parent nucleus was "giving birth" to a new generation of nuclei. The term "son" wasn't used because, at the time, the term "daughter" was more commonly used in scientific and mathematical contexts to describe derived or secondary quantities. For example, in algebra, a "daughter equation" was a secondary equation derived from a primary equation. Additionally, the term "daughter" has a more neutral connotation, whereas "son" might imply a sense of masculinity or gender, which wasn't intended in this context. So, while "son nuclei" might seem like a logical alternative, the convention has stuck with "daughter nuclei"!
Electric charges are not the only thing that can generate electric fields. Changing magnetic fields can also create electric fields. Also, changing electric fields create changing magnetic fields. So for light the procedure and method is that somewhere a charge oscillates creating a changing electric field. This changing electric field generates a changing magnetic field which in turn generates further changing electric fields. These changing fields propagate in space to form electromagnetic fields, the quantized form of which are photons.
Asalam o sirr i want to ask a question i have search alot about thiss but doesnt got a better answer i hope u will solve my problem an answer me .Why do slow moving electrons repel and fast moving electrons attract each other when travelling in the same direction? Concept and maths behind it?
Walaikum salam dear...The answer to ur question lies in Special theory of relativity...Remember parallel beams of electrons will always repel..bcs the electrons in both beams have magnetic field ass well as electric field, but the repulsive electric field between electron beams dominate over magnetic field at speeds less then C(speed of light) hence there will be repulsive force between them..but as the electron beams gets more and more speed there magnetic behavior increases but electric field remains the same bcs electric field is due to the property of charge, and charge of electrons doesn't change with the increase in speed bcs its invareint with speed but its mass do change..and from Special theory of relativity, the faster u move the massive u get... and if there speed reaches or exceeds the speed of light "C", only then the attractive magnetic field of the parallel electron beams will get strong enough to dominate over repulsive nature of electric field between two parallel e beams..but electrons can't move with "C" bcs special theory of relativity forbids any particle with nonzero rest mass to move with C..bcs if an electron do move with speed of light..its mass become infinite..which requires an infinite amount of energy..which is not possible..hence moving electron beams will always repel...hope that gives u some clue..to understand it in detail u have to have a firm grip on relativity..

Great Lectureee💯👍
Sir what is difference between electrostatic force and electromagnetic force
If photons are chargeless then how do they emit both electric and magnetic fields as they are the reason for electromagnetic radiation?
Electric charges are not the only thing that can generate electric fields. Changing magnetic fields can also create electric fields. Also, changing electric fields create changing magnetic fields.
So for light the procedure and method is that somewhere a charge oscillates creating a changing electric field. This changing electric field generates a changing magnetic field which in turn generates further changing electric fields. These changing fields propagate in space to form electromagnetic fields, the quantized form of which are photons.
ok thanks@@afnanbakht
And what about Gama rays as they also behave same?@@afnanbakht
sir as gamma rays have no mass but have maximum energy so how they follow einstein equation?

why electrostsic repulsive force overcome the strong nuclear force when atomic number increases from 82 ?
