That inside-the-park grand slam pretty much sums up how this game went.
Yeah CF needs to get demoted back to AA

I thought you were going to finish that sentence with... " how this season has went ".
@@Joker-bc9po the field where the sandlot was filmed
You know it's brutal when even the Jays announcers on Rogers Sportsnet were sounding somewhat disgusted by the proceedings on the field.
We learned that Blue Monster beats Green Monster
Less disgust and more disbelief
Imagine paying money to watch your team give up 28 runs
It would be an unforgettable night at the ballpark for better or worse
I was there definitely still fun seeing so many home runs
Apparently there was a proposal during the 5th inning
@@Wolf-wc1js and they played "we found love in a hopeless place"
there was indeed a proposal, the game was epic. that’s coming from a red sox fan. sat in sam adams club, the people were very energetic and we all witnessed history.
So happy for the jays fans that travelled for this game, it must’ve been the best feeling ever
It looked like they outnumbered the home crowd by the end.
This game will definitely be going down in the history books for the bluejays with the amount of homeruns/runs scored and I'd say there will be quite a few errors by the red soxs that'll be on misplays of the month too.
I’m almost surprised the Blue Jays didn’t knock down the Green Monster, given how many times they hit it.
That’s not even possible. A baseball can’t knock down a wall.
Tear down that wall!

Sheesh looking at the highlights score I thought football season started early 😎
But it was the wrong New England team behind by 20+ points to make a comeback possible.
That 5 tho is an interesting number for football
@@jazzblue1113 safety and a field goal lol but yeah its pretty weird
The fact these were all real pitchers until 27 runs is insane

Did Sanchez have the best ERA of all of them? lmao
Generous to call the Sox bullpen real pitchers
Thanks for the heads up, I'm 5 minutes into this and I can't watch anymore it's too embarrassing to watch and I'm a Cubs fan.

that's why it's a beautiful game.
FACTS! I never would've thought of an INSIDE THE PARK GRAND SLAM! That's just something I thought I would never see and a HOME RUN CYCLE(Solo, two run, three run and a grand slammy)
Yep! The best sport!!

Maybe they should have saved a couple for Saturday. Hopefully the Sox will still be on break til Monday.

I was stunned. I couldn’t believe what I do in MLB the show was occurring in reality lol amazing night for all the players
these were my exact thoughts as well lmao such a mess
Wait until you watch the highlights for the rangers orioles 30-3 game
Seems like a Joe Random game
What an unbelievable game. We've witnessed history, folks.
-Most runs in franchise history
-Most hits in franchise history
-Most runs given up by the Red Sox
-2nd inside the park grand slam in franchise history, the first since 1989. First in MLB since 2017
-Tied the MLB record for most runs in the first 5 innings
-Lourdes Gurriel Jr tied the franchise record for hits in a game (6)
Did the Red Sox show up?
The fact that the blue jays scored 27 runs within 6 INNINGS is like some fantasy baseball story
Man, Imagine if this happened in Rogers Centre. The crowd would go nuts.
everyone would be drunk for how long it took to get to the 7th inning lmao
It’s way funnier in Fenway though.
@@carpediumb6220 yeah but in toronto score would have been way higher due 2 Moon shots and prob longer innings
Yeah all 3,000 fans
@@juanrodriguez6508 Rogers centre has some of the best attendance in baseball this year and especially so when the team is competitive. Back when the blue jays were hot on playoff runs in 2015 and 2016 it was consistently sold out and one of the most hectic in baseball.
As a Yankees fan, i thank the Blue Jays. They did God's work.
Pay us back by sweeping Seattle next week.

Except you didn't see Bostonian grown ups literally bawling in the stands.
Except that was in a WC semi-final. Albeit also a win for the road team.
What a nail-biter! I wasn't sure who was going to win until the 3rd inning!
That second touchdown to the back corner of the endzone by Toronto really cut the heart out of the Red Sox defense, and both their safety and their field goal were scored on special teams, so the offense has nothing to brag about either.

It's always cool to see historic games like this, but it's even more fun when it's your team and you got to watch it live. Seeing fans from all fanbases comment their happiness about it happening to Boston is also great😁

It would have been better if it happened to the Yankees
I was at the game where Camarena became the first relief pitcher since 1900 to hit a grand slam in his first at-bat. (That game was on July 8, 2021).
This game was over before it even started. I saw the score and I was shocked! The final score was a football score.
Its like the Bills-Patriots playoff game last year
Jays' placekicker had a good night too - he went 4-4 !!
This game is textbook for how giving up extra outs destroys your team
..... and how your pitcher (Eolvaldi) spending all his time and effort feeling sorry for himself just wears down your team (and fast).
Cora must be getting nervous. Sure, it's a long season, but you can't have an extended losing streak (though the Jays themselves were wretched until they fired their nice but hapless manager).

By hockey standards, after only 20 minites of play!
They actually had to stop halfway through to wait for the next dump truck of game balls to be delivered to the umpire
Lolololol!
Damn, I never ever seen any baseball players be so physically exhausted from running all over their opponents during a game 😂
As a Yankees fan, I love to see the Red Soxs struggle like this 😂 nah but on a serious note, Boston has to get it together. They have been playing absolutely sloppy their past few games. 55 Runs in the last 3 games when they only scored 8 runs in that stretch. They have to do something to end this disaster. All these errors and mistakes are just killing them. Congrats to the Blue Jays for the victory though.
As a Astros.. honestly this shouldn't be happening to the Red Sox considering they're a **professional team**. They're literally playing worse than a middle school team. The to make things worse the Blue Jays are a decent team but the Blue Jays deserved what happened tonight.
All Yankee fans approve of this beatdown
Our problem is we have a small market GM in a running a big market team,he is way to cheap and needs to be fired,as a Redsox fan I miss Dombrowski.
As a Red Sox fan, I agree on everything. We have horrible pitchers ( even though we have pivetta, eovaldi..), Chris sale SOMEHOW got injured again… I think Trever is still down. How I wish we can do better, I think we are as bad as the O’s now. I won’t give up though… maybe. If they lose the next 3 games I’m done with them. seriously. last time I will watch them is the end of July, we can not cancel our tickets. I have been telling my mother to let them go, they aren’t worth it. She denies it! I’m thinking that they won’t get any better.
Wow. I watched this video mostly with my mouth open in shock. It feels like a Toronto highlight video with a touch of Boston blooper reel.
0:09 Coming out of the All-Star break and the Red Sox ready to go to work 🤣🤣

Everyone thumbs up if you think the Green Monster scoreboard operator deserves a raise after tonight. 👍
Unfortunately the maintenance crew has a bunch of holes to fix!
I'm just imaging that guy digging through the back room, "Dammit, where's that 11 sign..."
Refsnyder homers, JBJ homers, Vazquez homers twice, and Plawecki gets 3 hits. Must have been a fun and easy game for the Red Sox! 😎

As a lifelong baseball fan, I'd wanted to go to a game at Fenway my whole life, and finally had a chance on my first-ever visit to Boston that week. Needless to say, it remains one of the most memorable games I've ever seen. One team sets a franchise record for runs scored, the other for runs allowed. A man gets six hits. Another has an inside-the-park grand slam. A handful of homers over the Green Monster. This game had it all.
R.I.P. Green Monster scoreboard operator. 💀
Yes, being there I saw a few players stick their heads in the wall to talk to the scoreboard guy 😅
Hahaha so true! BTW hi Zack :)
looool. Zach maybe you shoulda been in right field to catch some of he oppos

Plus Bills and Jays are on the same division (AL/AFC EAST) and have similar jerseys Red, Blue and White
Bro the home Red Sox announcer when they scored the fifth run “that brings the Red Sox to within 22 runs😂😂
The Red Sox had two quick outs with nobody on base before giving up 11 runs in the 5th inning. 10 of them came after that dropped pop up that would have been the 3rd out.
Yeah, all the scoring in that 11 run inning was all with 2 outs. That's insane
disasters in baseball usually start with an error that should have been an out.
Ueah it’s crazy . This is how every game would be in the mlb if the defenses weren’t as good . An error can lead to this
Yeah, doesn't matter much. They STILL would of lost by 12 runs..
The blue Jay's had 19 2out runs!!!!😮
I must have watched this massacre over a dozen times now, I keep rolling back to watch Lotus's reaction to his inside the park home run, you can see he's thinking " Oh ****" then seeing the ball drop and putting on the after burners to clear the bases, as a fan from across the pond this was the most amazing display of brutal hitting I've ever seen. Go Jays.
Inside the park slam is insane!

And their defense was in total shambles tonight, mercy!!!
The defense gave up way too many errors, the offense was surprisingly good which is weird to say in a blowout like this

Red Sox playing that "fire the coach" level of ball the Jays were playing not long ago. This video looked like batting practice, not a game.
Jays have played bad but not that bad. And you really think these guys were going out there trying to lose games to get montoyo fired? That sounds ridiculous. They wouldn't throw games when they're in a division as tough as theirs. That will cost them a playoff spot and they wouldn't do it.
@@austinneveau9387 they lost to Oakland, Tampa and got swept by Seattle. Then they fired Montoyo and they beat Philly, swept the Royals and have lost once since and scored 28 runs last night. They wanted him gone. Do you watch sports these days? Every sport has players dogging it until their coach gets fired then they're a completely different team. Yes, I think they played to lose. He had lost control of the clubhouse and had lost their confidence and respect. He had to go. They make it happen.
Almost literally gave new meaning to “Blue Jays in 30” lol

The post game chat in the locker-room must've been something...
Charlie Montoyo is sitting somewhere and wondering why the Jays never scored 28 runs for him
Because he was bad
Yeah his got his job back of picking oranges
Montoyo is a good guy and players loved him, but not a good major league manager. He made so many head-scratching moves like when you’re a good poker player playing against a newbie. Sometimes the newbie gets lucky and the strange move works out , but the law of probability always plays out in the long run.
Personally, I think that he is sitting somewhere being exceptionally proud of the boys.
