There’s even unique animations for each Pal when it comes to performing tasks, for example if you have Cattiva and Depresso mine together with a pickaxe, Depresso would look bored and uninterested while working slow, while Cattiva would put in the work for his master as a great pal! I love those little details so much! Gives the game even more personality!

And each petting animation is so cute too. I love the petting animations of Cattiva, Foxparks, Rooby, Jolthog, Gumoss, Vixy, Cremis, Nox, Fuddler, Killamari, Mau, Celaray, Direhowl, Gobfin, Caprity, Melpaca, Eikthyrdeer, Nitewing, Incineram, Cinnamoth, Dumud, Cawgnito, Galeclaw, Beegarde, Elizabee, Grintale, Chillet, Univolt, Pyrin, Reindrix, Rayhound, Kitsun, Lunaris, Dinossom, Surfent, Vanwyrm, Beakon, Ragnahawk, Elphidran, Kelpsea, Azurobe, Blazehowl, Broncherry, Petallia, Reptyro, Fenglope, Quivern, Helzephyr, Astegon, Jormuntide, Suzaku, Faleris, Orserk, Shadowbeak, Frostallion, and Jetragon. I love the expressions they make whenever they get pet, and their cute cries are very wholesome indeed.
And yes, TPCI and Game Freak should ABSOLUTELY include petting features, similar to what Nintendogs has in that DS game.
The pals work there not surprising they will have different personality

I would of never had expected this much of attention to detail from a small indie studio. Its insane just how much more complex this game is than it lends off to be.
The animations are top tier. And it's not even launched yet, hope it only gets better.

There is pet option on 3ds Pokemon game. I'm can't understand why Game freak decided to remove that.

@@mk4-matt6290 And it's not like they have to do it from scratch as they have the basis for it with the Let's Go games and Switch motion from SwSh to bring back Pokémon Amie, heck they could just copy Palworld and make a petting animation instead of the generic "interact"/"talk".
Also it's a bit weird they included the cleaning your Pokémon from S/M (Pokémon Refresh) but didn't think of just using that for petting.
I want to see the player character hugging a Pokemon.

Amazing. This is what Pokémon skipped out on with Arceus and S/V. Being able to pet your companions.
I like to think this is even more fulfilling when you have the Pokémon mod for Palworld installed.

Some pals take to being pet right away, while others like Leezpunk are indifferent at first, but grow to like being pet.
Petting a Lamball is simply the greatest thing.
I bought it for the pokemon with guns, but this feature right here is what made this a game a keeper for me.

I hope the work on the player's petting animations a bit. Sometimes it works really well with the pal they're petting and sometimes it just looks like he's awkwardly making jazz hands at them and the pals are just (adorably) going along with it.
I bet that’ll probably be something that comes out in the full release, im okay with how it is for an early access but i also hope they update them
It's weirdly cute how Paladius and Necromus bow gallantly when receiving pets.
I love the amount of details each of the pals have it in general it makes the world feel more alive

Another cute and easily missable detail is Cremis when it sleeps. Its whole head is tucked inside its "mane" so it looks like its inside a sleeping bag.
