World eaters should have gotten red butchers when becoming their own range. If thousand sons can have their special terminators and deathguard get two we should have ours
This way it balances out, effectively 1 each.
/s
I’d bet you get them and a special Chaos Lord to lead them with your Codex… maybe a unique “monster” character too
@@thefloridaman41 A codex that'll no doubt be completely invalidated mere months later by the release of 11th Edition.
*Rages in World Eater*
I agree with statement found it odd that World Eaters don’t have a special terminator unit
Especially since there's a special edition Red Butcher for their Art Series of models.
I'd honestly love if GW just took the 30k ad mech models and slapped some rules on them for 40k, the stilt guy is funny but those models are peak
Ong im desperate for some of those big stompy robots
The robots, the laser cannons of death, the tanks... 30K AdMech MOGS 40K AdMech.
Here come the fembots for admech..
There was an employee at GW who was working on that. Sadly he passed away before anything could really come of it.
Sadly GW isn't big on having models work across games these days. But completely agree. 30k admech is amazing, 40k admech...feels too steam punky and detached from the rest of the tech they're supposedly responsible for.
Drukhari not need only plastic resculpts, but also something new. Since revamp in 2010, our roster didn't recieve any new units. It only got smaller!
Upgrade Sprue for Kabalite, Lelith Hesperax and now, although no standalone at the moment, new Mandrakes. That doesn´t mean I am not agreeing. It would be nice to see an all new unit instead of another character model.
@@KurtKn1sp3lthat just proves their point, nothing new, only resculpts.
Also half there range you just can’t buy
Theysh should get big release either in 10th but way more likely in 11th edition. We already got new Mandrakes and in previous editions Lelith Hesperax, Drazhar and Incubi, so signs already there
Yes. Resculps+ brand new units. Believe me, playing with the same units for more than 13 years can get boring. :)
In defence of Deathwatch, every Space Marine kit is a Deathwatch kit: it just doesn't know it yet.
Hehehehehe kitbash go brrrrr
Like every vehicle is an Ork kit. I could also see oldmarines kitbashed into Orks.
True. I wish they'd lean into thier use of xenos weapons and stuff a bit more and have some super unique gear though.
Tau are never mentioned on those lists and tbh…this shows how brilliant they were designed. Old models still exist and work really good with new ones
I mostly agree although the crisis suits are starting to look a bit squat now compared to the new suits like farsight’s
@@WorldOfWeebcraft no I wouldn’t say that actually. They are amazing posable, but with their nerv which brings them closer to battleline I think we might need a unit that fills the gap between crisis suits and commander suits. Something like real bodyguards or elite crisis suits. That would be nice! We got smth. like that with broadsides for heavy support, but maybe smth that is a little bit more combat focused? 🙂
Think the tanks could use an upgrade. They are like 20 years old
@@es83stevenson88Nope same thing here 😅 Personal preference for sure. But except the poor kit quality their design still fits nice and is iconic imo! And I have 4+ waiting to be painted 😂
@@Spacusstultus just lore wise they should have an update. I mean they love to update the suits but no love for the tanks?
100% agree on Custodes, we don't need "New" stuff, we just need the stuff from FW. And also the new units the Sisters of Silence got in their HH Liber Imperium, for which GW has released 0 new models, despite making them as their own army with jetbike units and more.
Daemons are such a missed opportunity for some crazy sculpts. They're supposed to have a wild variety of actual forms and are supposed to be one of the biggest threats to the galaxy, but they get some of the least support, and GW seems adamant in only giving them just HQ releases once in a blue moon.
Daemons are an AoS army primarily, so they work off of that release schedule rather than 40k’s… we may get something with our codex but most updates or new units will be done with the respective god’s battletome (which on the plus side with 4th happening we may be getting some soon, assuming they don’t focus on the mortals again).
Give Thousand Sons their floating silver tower.
I want this so bad, I really dont think tanks feel very Tsons. taking something similar to a silver tower would be so awesome.
or a Chariot with an aspiring sorcerer being turned into artillery chained to it.
Id also like a Tzaangogre, or a Tzaangitaur. Tzaangors likely arent going anywhere and itd be cool to have more serious melee presence.
That necron-esque floating esoteric structure visual would work so well with TSons.
Hold up what? Where in the lore is this?
@@lebambam4347 Old Epic 40k and Apocalypse had rules sans an official model.
Considering I've been into the hobby for 5 years, and my armies consist of Space Marines, Tyranids, Necrons & Orks, it really does go to show how effective having a fresh range is to entice newer players.
not really. you purchased leviathatan and indomitus. Orks... everybody who has a decent sense of humor has some amount of them.
Also: These are the same 4 factions i have. So we are pretty much the same
To be fair, Necrons and Tyranids were the official “big bad” of 9th and 10th editions. I can see your point with orks to a degree though.
@@swheen that's the point he's making, if an army gets I'm the launch box it gets more players.
For context with the space wolves, there are 35 unique units in the index. Of these, 29 are firstborn, and only 2 are primaris. Refreshing a single kit (the grey hunters/SW converted infantry) would update 6 units instantly, provided heavy weapons and jump packs are also updated and available
I joined in 3rd when my Iron Warriors had special rules and felt like a faction themselves. I just want that back.
I really hope that they get their own codex with Vashtorr + dark mechanicus. You'd end up with a chaos flavoured counterpart that's somewhere between admech, dark angels and Necrons and I just think it'd be neat
(also make the dark admech into the space skaven you wouldn't have to change a singular thing about either faction)
@teejay1646 that, my friend, is a think of beauty! Yeah, Vashtoor leasing the IW was my right too. But you just dialed it up to 11!
I know this is a pipe dream, but getting any form of a Harlequin unit/character would be amazing. I get Eldar has a large range, but since you killed the faction a few new models to go along with a fun detachment would help make a lot of harlequin players happy. It also gives drukahri players some more allies to help with the super old roster.
Absolutely agree with this.
What I'd love to see for the 'Quins:
1) Mimes. Another Troop option, cheaper than Players but with more basic weapons and some tricksy rules (deep-strike, maybe?)
2) Troupe Master on Bike, let him lead the Skyweavers.
3) Dedicated Troupe Master model, make him a stand-out model as the current one is nice but looks like a standard Troupe Player.
4) An Avatar of Cegorach, give the Harlies some heavy support.
Harlequins should get the kroot treatment
Thousand Sons: Give us the Mirrorfiend. Forgefiend-style profile, various Warpflamer weapons, and a Damage reflection mechanic like the AdMech Robots.
It'd be fun to see all the paintjobs trying to look reflective.
TSons havocs and melee disk unit please
@willlondon4964
It's so weirdly arbitrary which Chaos Space Marines unit each of the DG, TS, and WE get compared to which we don't.
I’ve been waiting 25 years for new Catachans… GW have missed out on my money all those years… Bring out new Jungle Fighters!!
Space Wolves have more models and data sheets than every single xenos and most chaos factions: they can sit and swivel on their old models
Sincerely: a thousand sons player who's *still* waiting for us to have more than 5 data sheets worthy of existing
It’s still boggles the mind that Custodes have been languishing in forgeworld hell for as long as they have.
Since they move most heresy kits into plastik i suspect that the custodes make the transition in next year or the year after that.
This year is in the sign of the solar auxilia. And then either custodes or admech
OK so we don’t exactly need any kind of major release but when do us sisters get our baneblade-equivalent-cathedral-on-treads?
When you casually mention that your Sisters army has no real good answer for a super-heavy, and people go, "just put Canis Rex in there!"
"Uh... not what I was going for, but, uhm... thanks. I guess."
@@northerner3861 lol I am literally painting a pair of armigers for my sisters as we speak
@@thefloatingcontinent9897 GW has to sell Knights to non-Knight players somehow!
FINALLY ! Man, thank you for mentioning world eaters and leagues of votann, they really need their second wave of units.
I'm gonna say it because if there is a thing people should be bothered about in the Custodes codex it's the Emperor-damned 18 datasheets count out of which there's Valerian and Aleya as separate ones, while half of their range sits in FW resin without proper Codex support.
Because Adeptus Custodes is a fully plastic army with Forge World options, moreover it's a recent army that got sizable releases in 7th and 8th edition. GW production cycles operates in waves and token releases, so other factions have priority right now, so naturally Custodes got token releases in character models during 9th and 10th. Next sizable chunks of releases will likely be in 11th or 12th.
Custodes is not a fully plastic army, you need to have s look dude. We have 4 plastic units to choose from apart from sisters which are is the same datasheet vith different weapons. Same goes for shield captain. Apart from those we have same number of units as Votann and the only ones added since release is the champion. Custodes is on the verge of being a not playable faction due to lack of variety. FW units are just bull, 3 of them are of value and they are all expensive and lacking support. Most don't have the funds to add them to their army.
Watching how they go about Forge World models , they are not an option for me as they can very easily just cease to be once a plastic model comes out and FW stuff is waaaay to pricy for that (cost of for example Venatari is just wrong) ... Friend of mine bought a Dimacheron at the beginning of 9th ... Only for it to be completely gonified nit to compete with the Norns
We GSC players don't ask for much at this point. If the new Kill Team models show up in the Codex, that'd be a nice step forward. I really just want Brood Brothers to be a bit more useable as compared to actively detrimental to field in your army.
I do however agree that a ranged elite unit like a shooty version of aberrants would be nice.
I just started GSC (from Necrons and Sisters) and while Im amazed at how usable GSC battleline line its crazy how there's more characters than there are units. So *any* new unit type would be helpful. But from what I've read GSC is the lowest played faction so I doubt they're high on any priority list.
@@zissoulander
Yeah, it's super weird how many characters vs core units there are.
Tje new kill team models are literally just brood brothers which you can already take though?
@@humbertoharo6840
Sort of. They have loadouts that Astra Militarum units don't have. There is no actual "Brood Brothers" unit specifically.
@@micahsmith2066 amd frankly very much doubt that there will be one, as brood brothers is the name of the actual rule tjat lets tou take astra militarum units, also its pretty common for killteam units to have loadouts that are only for the killteam game, while in 40k they have much simplear loadouts.
Undivided Chaos Legion models. The Night Lords are a great start but they need to keep em coming. They are years overdue.
I would be a word bearers and emperors children player.....
......IF I HAD ANY!!
I think after emperors children they will spilt the codex with csm subfactions like the space marines have. Black legion, undivided, night lords, word bearers, alpha legion etc.
@@jeremiegartner464 yes, and hopefully there will be some decent detachments for the Legions in this upcoming codex. For my Iron Warriors, I'm hoping they don't just cut-paste Imperial Fists rules. That would be a bummer!
#1 is Votann because of how they just... have huge holes in their roster. After that I'd probably say armies that have really old models, and we all know that old space marines are more likely to get a refresh before old xenos.
And while we are at it, some more lore material for them. At least 2-3 books...
@@fipse 100% to both suggestions
@fipse I never understood why GW didn't at least release some small stories to go with. A whole novel would be nice but a sub 100 page small story would have been enough while we wait 😭
Votann is only half an army atm
To be fair, they are also half a man.
@@ongkhuongduy3498That's going in the book
@@Whispdragon which one
@@Whispdragon Sounds like a short story.
Votann should ditch their current aesthetic and lean into the wild west one their killteam went with. Looks way better than small space marines
Literally half the GSC options are characters (11 out of 22). I would be very happy to get literally anything else.
Thousand Sons need Rubrics on Discs of Tzeentch so they can have assault marine/raptor equivalents or make them tougher and have them be bike equivalents.
Honestly I wouldn’t even mind if they were in between highly mobile and mostly psychic shooting but still only T4 with a few extra wounds, like a slightly more offensive (and not fantasy port over) enlightened. And let exalted sorcerer attach
If it were *me* dreaming up new 1kSons units, I'd go with;
- Disc Riders: a unit of 3-6 Aspiring Sorcerers who can bring more dedicated anti-tank + some scouting/disruption abilities
- Dual kopesh wielding Rubrics: dedicated melee unit, led by an Aspiring Sorc who would obviously provide some small melee centric synergies to the unit
- Psychic Dreadnought
- a 'mini Silver Tower' daemon engine: basically a floaty tower that could provide some artillery support
- Add in the Noctilith Crown + Traitor Guard from CSM as options. Remove the Dinobots as they really just don't fit the theme of the 1kSons at all.
Or they need to get rid of the stupid allied demons rule
They killed off any incentive to run the only unique and non-repetitive aspect of our army purely BC they CBF balancing the blue scribes and changeling.
Now allied daemons just hard suck as a concept purely BC GW can't balance and wants every single list to invariably be Ahriman, disc sorcerer, foot sorcerer, 30 rubrics and magnus and I'm actually beyond sick of it
@@teejay1646IMO it wasn’t even Thousand Sons abusing the daemons we just got caught in the crossfire when they added battleline tax
TSons havocs and disk melee units
For the love of god thousand sons
Melee Rubrics and some Daemon Chariot unit to act as a Fast Attack option 🤞
Fr we have absolutely nothing and they keep ruining the tiny amount of variety we get
(Oh yeah GW, just outright ruin the entire concept of allied daemons and force everyone to buy two boxes of horrors rather than balance the edge cases of Changeling and Blue Scribes, great idea🙄🙄)
God thousand sons really need new models
You can actually guess with 70-80% accuracy which faction is getting "big release" in current edition by looking at past releases in each edition, for example using lexicanum miniatures portal. Aside from edition launch factions that always get huge release (SM/DG,SM/Necrons,SM/Tyranids), GW nowadays likes to operate in waves for sizeable releases, usually lasting two editions before taking a break for one-three editions, only getting token release of one/few units, then cycle flips again. Hence Eldar, Votann, World Eaters, Imperial Guard etc who only get one wave in 9th edition are almost guarantee to get 2nd one in 10th. Also big chance for factions like Drukhari, Blood Angels, Space Wolves, Deathwatch and Grey Knights to start their big range update either in 10th or 11th edition.
Btw since Custodes, Genestealers,Admech, Sisters are recent plastic armies that got releases in 7th-9th we only getting token relese of character model in 10th edition
I absolutely agree, but at the same time as GSC player want you to be incorrect lol
@@vanichga2811 Well, according to Valraks rumours Genestealers should get one new character models for their new codex, it's apparently some big bloated head psyker. Also add to that new KT Blood Brothers kit.
@@vanichga2811 You'll likely get something, but the attention should definitely go to those that most badly need it.
@@ruslanhoncharenko2179 Yeah, brood brothers and new psyker are very cool, assuming he will look like one from necromunda. By the way, what do you think about probability of gw removing armies from the game? Like they did with harlequins
@@vanichga2811 Not really likely, maaaaaaaybe the only possible candidates would be Deathwatch and Grey Knights being rolled into Agents of the Imperium
I have a World Eaters Combat patrol and Christmas box unmolested on my shelf...where the hell is the rest of the range!?
A narrative campaign where the World Eaters fight the emperors children with a huge range release fornboth armies would be cool
So going off what you said you’ve got well over 2000 pts of models untouched, still on sprue. By the sounds of things new models are the last thing you need.
stop complaining about what you dont have and start building/painting what you do and maybe by the time you’ve finished WE will have their new models lol
AdMech needs some heavy hitters like a big tank. Or something big. Or something which point value is more than his actual price.
Really it needs a complete point overhaul. Admech should be way more point costly then IG.
Please Games Workshop port the Thanatar to 40k I beg you I'd buy three of these without question
World eaters just need access to some legacy chaos marine choices. Notably Terminator lords, cultist mob, raptors and bikers
Why do we need more cultists? Jakhals are one of the best units we have
@@Lyriiic I'll be perfectly honest, I haven't tried jakhals yet. That is the only WE unit I don't own, mostly because I'm upset I can't use the 70+ cultists I already have
No we don't!! We just *need* our actual god damned gak to be released!!
I want a proper chain weapon wielding loon for a Chaos Lord, Berserker Surgeon, Red Butcher Termies, the Teeth of Khorne, Jugger cav, Traitor Guard, Beastmen auxiliary, Blood Slaughterer, Brass Scorpion, etc...
Gw can take back the stupid dinobots.
WE's have MUCH cooler looking Daemon engines than those turds 😛
The fact they don't even have a terminator lord absolutely boggles the mind. Like how? How does that work?
As A Space Marine player, I need more types of Lieutenants!
We do kind of need a Gravis one.
@@JimH.apothecary biologus does that job
Grey Knights, PLLLEEEEAASE!!!!
No. You get man strapped to the front of a mech and you'll like it!
The fact that GK are 7th is a travesty.....but sadly shows their popularity
Grey knights should be second and dark eldar first. On average Grey knights have the second oldest model range at 2011ish older if you include the first born motor pool
As a half-brother on the TSon side, I am heartbroken and want the best for you guys :(
Every first founding chapter needs an upgrade sprue. Loyalist and Chaos. They’d sell incredibly well.
Easy answer to the question at the beginning: Catachan Jungle Fighters!!!!!!
They need to finally finish phasing out all the old resin for new plastic sculpts. I stress that last part, replace with plastic rather than just an overall phase out. Aeldari and Drukhari especially need this
I really want the Osiron Contemptor to get rules for 40K, a kit in plastic (even though I know it's a bit niece for that) and I definitely want more variants of Rubric Marines for battle line. Specifically Kentia Occult Blade rubrics
World Eaters could perhaps use some Rampagers too-berserkers with different gladiator weapons like meteor hammers and falax blades. Or maybe could be a method of re-adding Mutilators to the range.
Eldar needs all their phoenix lords to be released
I only just returned to the hobby, this time collecting Harlequins.
Was pretty shocked to see Warpspiders still being the same sculpt since I left back in late 90s - early 00s.
But we really need our Phoenix Lords back. Only having 2 of 7 available to even purchase from GW is wild.
Aspects > PLs
Only 3 or so to go depending on if you count spectres.
Auspex stands.
I know this isnt going to be the most popular answer, but i would love to see more Imperial Knights! In reality they only have 5 chasis types, and i would love to see new ones! Maybe something in-between an armiger and a questoris, maybe something fast and very light, or maybe even something smaller than armigers!
people complain about it being a skew list, so I would love to maybe have some melee men at arms infantry, or something.
Yeah knights need some "pit crew" units or something to fill the board out.
Maybe let them ally with imperial factions with a similar rule to souping daemons in monogod chaos armies where you can run 1/4 of your points as Guard, sisters, admech, marines or agents. It's only fair considering knights basically exist to supplement those armies more than play on their own
But you have to pick one, and then make a detachment with a rule for each and put the full strength of the "4 queens on the chessboard" vibe of normal knights into a detachment that stops the entire army from just being pure skew
Votann they need phase 2 to fill in gaps
...and World Eaters, and Thousand Sons
Honestly, Votann probably still have MOAR unique options than *both of those two Legions combined?!*Lol
1kSons: Magnus + Exalted Sorcs + Ahriman + Infernal Master + Rubrics + Scarabs + Tzaangor upgrade sprue
WE's: Angry Ron + Kharn + Jugger Lord + 'Zerkers + Jackels + Eightbound
Catachans need a refresh. Not the whole Guard roster as it’s had a recent refresh but Catachans are still using 3rd edition models
1. Release Emperor's Children
2. Finish releasing World Eaters and Votann
3. Range refresh for Guard and Aeldari
There you go GW, that's your next ~16 months
Didn't the Emperors Children already have a Dreadnought with a Sonic Weapon? A contemptor, I think, with a vox grill that dealt emotional damage to worthless traitors...
Underrated comment lol
Slaanesh marines and Eldar need new models.
Custodes need ALL there forgeworld stuff in plastic. It’s difficult to build any variety in lists without them
I kinda wish the Bonesinger got a refresh too.. But was recently added to the Legends list.
So seems like we're not going to be seeing that any time soon, if ever.
Looks like i'm going to need to trawl through ebay to get one to add to my collection which kinda sucks.
The Kroot recieved more models in a single release wave than the Thousand Sons have received the entire time they've existed. Please don't forget Tzeentch, GW.
Man, I was feeling good about my Sons until you put that into perspective.
@@timunderbakke8756 we literally have 4 data sheets worth a shit. We used to have 5 but SoTs are kinda bad now
Exalted sorcerer kit has been hard carrying out faction for so long
@@teejay1646 Could always be worse... WE's have only 3 relevant datasheets; Angry Ron, Eightbound & LoS
2 of those are also basically $200(CAN) kits to boot!
@@drunkenastarte5243 World eaters are guaranteed to be getting the other half of their range, which cannot be said about ksons
@@drunkenastarte5243 Yeah but we all know that WE is half a roster that's gonna be filled out later. We're two editions into ksons just getting nothing and the future does not look bright
Loved this video. Love your polls and speculation videos. You tend to be pretty on target.
For thousand sons, where's my silver tower fortification GW?!
Daemons looking around as 4 armies that get super glued together with no synergy so people forget how bad they are outside of Kaiju spam lists
I definitely think that before any refreshes for older units in plastic, or new units, we need the models that are either nonexistent, or in metal/finecast/resin. Stuff like Drukhari are up there pretty high, Aeldari too, all but what, 5 kits in Custodes are in resin, either get stuff like that fixed or drop them from the index/codex as appropriate, then you can worry about new or updated plastic kits
I love my current Grey Knight collection, although it'd be great to see some refreshes (especially Drago and Stern)
As a Death Guard Player, I'd like to see another tank in the lineup tbh. The PBC is good, now expand the puetrid range.
Hey auspex just wanna say love your stuff and hope you’re doing good today man never let the internet bring you down brother
I’d love a Grey knight update! Very much needed
WE need Berzerker Surgeon, Red Butchers, Lord in terminator armour and a regular lord on foot at the bare minimum.
Sisters need: a) A flyer, b) A heavy tank (Dorn sized) that is styled in a sensible manner similarly to the Castigator, c) A slightly flamboyant Baneblade variant, d) A VERY flamboyant Droppod/dropkeep.
Ademech: Need a sensibly styled heavy (Dorn sized) tank, and as much of their 30K robots in plastic ported over as possible.
Honestly, I only need a few things to be happy as a Thousand Sons player:
Psyker dreadnought (generating cabal points and has high strength shooting), melee centric unit similar to assault terminators so I have a reason to use a land raider, and a fast attack power amount similar to tzangor enlightened but more durable and marines. If I get these 3, I’ll never ask for a kit again and keep on buying more TSons
I was promised space elves riding dinosaurs in 1994 and I'm still waiting!
SoS could really use some love. I’d kill for a melta gun unit of SoS to round out both their and the custodes as a whole packing in heavy hitting infantry fire power. Make them monster slayer type units that get re-rolls against vehicles and monsters, with their in lore role being to slay psyker monsters are to destroy the transport that a psyker is hiding within. Beyond that done like bikers might work well for them too. Perhaps combine that two with them being bikes with multi-meltas attached
It's pretty conspicuous how much more the variants of loyalist marines get versus chaos when you put it all together like this. As someone who got into this with Thousand Sons I'd like a rescaled Rubric kit that just gave you more squad options, like some little mini specialist characters, weapons, or just a couple more options for the sorcerers there. You might not need a whole different unit type, really. Though a defensive melee version would be fun. Wouldn't make as much sense for them to have a big charging heavy hitter with the slow dustbins. Or something that was a more unique heavy firepower unit rather than just the Mutalith. But really just updated Rubrics would be my first pick. They are so slow to build and paint, and so samey.
My understanding is that the blood angels and space wolves will be getting a similitude update to the other mainline chapters. One unit refresh and an upgrade kit for the new terminators and possibly a one or two caharcters
We need an Auspex Tactics mini
Yeah having just assembled some Bloodletters as allies for my World Eaters, I've got to experience both sides of the coin. Bloodletters direly need an update, with how badly their kit goes together and heavily relies on stripping mold lines and melting joints with plastic glue. Wheras World Eaters just need an update in general!
I know it's a decent amount of extra work, but if you want insanely bad@$$ semi-armoured Bloodletters, slap their torso onto the legs of Fantasy Bestigors. (...re-releasing either this Summer or Fall under The Old World banner)
Bulks up the Bloodletters so they're nice and tall, and they look fething epic with the armoured lower half & hooves vs. the dainty clawed feet of the current sculpts.
i know the death guard range is only 7 years old, but theres only been a new character and a fortification since then :( a man can dream
Our cup runneth over compared to other struggling factions but I would certainly take more. DG terminator lord comes to mind. I was also never a fan of the plague caster sculpt. And the 9th codex talks of something called a Lord of Pox, that would be interesting.
@@todders559 yeah we definitely can’t complain considering we actually have a complete army range (looking at you, world eaters).
the plague caster from the heroes series looks way better but good look trying to get an original for a reasonable price, I’ve also found some great 3D printable proxies.
I’d love to see maybe another troop choice, maybe a twist on the plague marines. I’m kinda annoyed they made possessed legends, meaning I can’t even really play my kitbashed ones now. Or maybe dedicated death guard helbrute/dreadnought. I already have a pretty neat 3D printed nurgle helbrute and I can only imagine what a new GW sculpt could look like.
@@TheMeilinger a DG flavored hellbrute would be amazing. We would be so spoiled at that point I wouldn’t be able to look other CSM players in the eye lol.
How about getting the gellerpox infected as a permanent part of the army?
@@todders559 The Mantles of Corruption
We have 2 already; the Lord of Contagion (currently only the Lord Felthius set available), and the Lord of Virulence.
That still leaves the Mantles/Lords of PoX, Parasitism, Withering & Flux. Plus the "rumored seventh mantle, which none have been worthy of, and talk of it is dark indeed."
Would be great to get one of those other named Mantles released as a 'Death Guard Lord in Power Armour' kit, maybe with the options for a Manreaper scythe (for a basic Lord of Contagion) + 'new' Mantle
Being the infantry focused Legion, I'd also love to see us get a new 'Destroyer Squad' of heavy weapons/alchemical weapons, as our own version of a more traditional Havocs squad. (...where's our crazy rad & viral weapons again?!)
Also, just give us the Traitor Guard datasheet please GW... do you have any fething idea just how many Deathcorps of Krieg kits you'd sell to Death Guard players if we could take actual units of Traitor Guard?!Lol ;-)
Harlequins. There is ONE named Harlequin model and he's in the Sisters of Battle army. Lore-wise they're almost the Aeldari equivalent of the Custodians and yet they're basically now relegated out of being even their own army and are now a subset of the Eldar faction.
I agree, but I think they're gearing up for some major shift in Eldat lore
It pains me to say this, but I'm expecting Harlies to get rolled straight into the Aeldari Codex (without any options for them as a stand-alone army 😭)
Caladayce Kesh could have been a really fun model release tbh. Her and potentially a sisters of silence kill team drop would be epic
I play blood angels. Friend plays space wolves. All our special units look undersized now.
as a world eaters player, can GW gives us the other half of our army already?
Let's be honest, it's really more like the missing 75% of our army...
Just stapling a bunch of CSM vehicles to the 4 actual pages of WE options isn't exactly worthy of even calling us a 'stand alone' faction at this point.
Custodes and AdMech are in a surprisingly similar situation there... There's so much cool stuff already designed in FW resin, and so little effort needed to port them to 40k
GW needs to realize that porting the Thanatar to plastic is the easiest way to print money
I want to see Ezekiel vs Ezekiel, probably make him feel super unforgiven being named after an Arch traitor.
Thousand Sons being voted under World Eaters despite being years older and having less bespoke kits is hilarious
1kSons kits: Magnus, Ahriman, Infernal Master, Exalted Sorcerers, Rubric Marines, Scarab Occult
WE kits: Angry Ron, Kharn, Jugger Lord, 'Zerkers, Eightbound, Jackels
We're both exactly even in how much GW hates us!
Though technically, 1kSons have a 'bonus' "kit" in the Tzanngor upgrade frame, so 1/9th of a point to Ravenclaw!
For the God Specific CSM armies, I believe that once we get them all, they will go AoS on Chaos and break everyrhing down into the Gods, Daemon and SM alike. What they could already be planning is allowing them to take normal units again with some exceptions (Khorne cant take psykers, Thousand sons cant take daemon engines, etc).
If we lose daemon engine access, we basically have less than our current range supply at the end. No thanks.
I wouldn’t mind Tzeentch daemons joining our codex but that wouldn’t fully solve the range issue.
We need about 600 more Space Marine Lts
I know Black Templars got some love relatively recently but I have been awestruck by their models. I would love to see more of them!!
I don’t think Templars will get anything, but a Templar specific assault terminator with the usual Templar aesthetics would be amazing
@@timunderbakke8756 yes please!
I'm a new World Eaters player and goddamn they're awesome. Can't wait for new models. Dark Mechanicum would be sick as well.
CSM and Eldar not mentioned. Even though some of their range dates back to 3rd edition, or earlier.
Even if it’s not a new model or anything for thousand sons I would really love a craftworlds warlock conclave style unit for sorcerers where you can take multiple at a bit of a discounted rate
Definitely Grey Knight resculpts, every time I look at the range I don't feel so old anymore
There is already a known answer for the Nurgle chariot. Plague Toad riders. They are in the Total War
To be honest someone just needs to grab the development team by the collar and say "Tactical primaris marines, devastator primaris marines, and get back to work on the other factions."
Yeah, most of the bloat in the SM range has been caused by GW not wanting to just release Primaris Tacticals and Devastators.
Intercessors, Hellblasters, Desolation Squad and Infernus should have all been options for an actual Tactical Squad
Eradicators should have been the first step to Primaris Devastators with options for the other heavy weapons.
It wasn’t hard, they could have solved the codex and range bloat very easily but instead they chose to release one new kit per weapon type
I'd like to see a few gaps in the Sororitas lineup filled. The rumored jump canoness will be nice but I'd like a unit with infiltrate, maybe something that had sticky objectives and for the love of the Emperor, something that can crack enemies with toughness higher than 10. That said we're in a much better spot than a lot of armies so I can't complain too much
I'll bet money we get a Space Wolf range refresh at the end of 10th including the return of Leman Russ.
While yes, Astra Militarum has had some new releases in the past few years with two Cadian refreshes and a Krieg release, Catachan Jungle Fighters are arguably some of the oldest models still in production, with the battle line Jungle Fighters not change in 25 years and their characters are still made with pewter. With GW's model based rules, it has caused for them to suffer as a sub-faction due to no weapon options and the standardization of infantry taking away a lot of their unique traits, having only gotten a consolation glow-up as cheap chaff infantry in 10E despite them being a fairly elite force as far as Guard regiments go.
I don't play guard but I would love a catachan killteam like krieg
For TSons, I’d love to have the Rehati swordsmaster dudes, maybe on disks of Tzeentch
World eaters also need some sort of warpsmith, because there should be someone who builds lords of skulls
Tzeentch Daemon Engines could look really wild actually. I've always envisioned a kind of wheels within wheels Ophanim look, covered with warpfire and eyeballs. What people tend ro refer to as "biblically accurate angels."
I'd call it the "Wheels of Eternity" and have it spit warpfire and have crazy tricks.
A cross over between the skaven doom wheel with some big guns covered in hieroglyphics would suit me just fine
The only thing that Space Marines really "needs' right now are outriders that don't suck to build; give them hover/repulsor bikes, finish off replacing first born sets with primaris, and then they're range will probably be good for the next handful of editions.
grey knights, thats why i sold them a month ago, i have the same models for over 10 years (and the models are even older)
Id love if Exarchs became characters again, not a better Sergeants.
Karandras would be cool as rework.
Warp Spiders for sure...
and a Warp Spider Phoenix Lord
We probably get new Banshees, an a new Yriel
A Votann berserk leader would be nice
Custodes above grey knights? Woah.
Here i was hoping my Chaos knights could get a vote for getting a ton of support troops :P
I think we need a evil sunz warboss on bike with a data sheet
Call this odd but one bit you said made me realize something. Genestealer Cults can never have too properly named characters. Like they can have titled characters kinda like the nids but they can never have a proper named one since the cults usually all die if they win and they aren’t like other faction named characters in which they can appear in any fight or on any planet. The cult has to be formed from a populous and stay there for the tyranid arrival.
I mean blood angels are getting their death co. refresh this summer, and wolves are gonna get their refresh at the end of 10th when leman russ comes back
I'm currently building the combat patrol for GK, the normal space marines seriously need a redo in my opinion, especially when compared to a modern figure like castellan crowe they just look dopey... The terminators hold up though, had great fun making them and they look great when done.
Cuqtodes new shild captain is a nice sculpt but not really what we needed and I totally agree with just make some of the forgeworld units in plastic would be great.....
Or even just the upgrade kits would very much satisfy me
