Thanks Meg. Just made one of these and looking forward to having a go at some of the prompts for Junk Journal July 2023. Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow.
Great video! Glad it was in my feed today. Yesterday I was making a small scraps one in a drop in arts & crafts workshop. I like your idea of larger pages with a fold connecting the next according. It helps to keep it straight and strengthen the part you typically touch to turn the pages. I’m going to try your method this weekend. Thanks for sharing. I’m subscribing to your channel!
Thank you very much. I have lots of old book pages and this video is really helpful on how to use them. I am very happy to have found this video. Thanks
Oh Meg how I love this type of journal. Fantastic idea. It looks to be stress-free and oh so easy. I will be watching to see how to decorate this journal. Tyfs!
I just finished one of these no sew journals. I enjoyed the process. I think I am going to use this journal for the July challenge. Thank you for the video.
This video offers the perfect solution to an issue I was having making an odd size journal out of recycled materials. I found it thanks to Suzi Lince in Junk Journal Rookies. I'm new to this so I was unsure if I could glue papers together to make pages for the journal. Thanks to both of you. Hitting subscribe now. 🤩
That is a really fun way to make a junk journal. I think I'll make one for my youngest daughter to put her stickers in. Great tutorial as always. Thanks for sharing with us!
So glad you found it helpful! Attach a thicker card or cardboard to the front and back pages. You could even poke a hole on the right side of each and thread some ribbon through for a closure! I can make a video to show some cover ideas if you’d find it helpful. 🙂
I am a new subscriber after linking over from 49dragonflies. I absolutely love this method. So quick and easy to do. I'm going to "hire" my granddaughter to help me make these. I should be able to clear out boxes of scraps in just a few days! TFS - Stay safe out there and have a BLESSED weekend!
Thank you Meg for a great video! Tomorrow I will start to prepare my journal, I have an old book I want to work in! Roll on July! Do I have to sign up or just play along? Thanks again Meg!🙌🏻🧚♀️
I really enjoyed watching you create your journals. You do wonderful textures with little scraps of neutral designs and colors that is very pleasing to my eye. I am looking forward to following your lead. You've inspired me in new ways. Thank you for sharing!
Love this so much Thank you for your clear instructions Can anyone help me with what to use a journal for please Don't shout at me but I'm sure it will help my mental health to make and use them but I've no idea what to do with them and I'm too scared to make a mistake and ruin my hard work. I've never been a diary writer and am too old to start now so what else can I do? Really appreciate the time anyone takes to reply Thank you
Documenting your day, doodling, even just making pretty collages with things you like! Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, it’s all part of the process 🥰 And you’re never to old to start!!
Thank you! So I add labels/journal spots over areas with printed text to allow me room to journal. I tend to work in little areas rather than text on a whole page.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this tutorial and going slow enough to be sure we understood the concept. Appreciated, Lynn
One of my favorite videos to revisit.
TFS your talent.
Thanks Meg. Just made one of these and looking forward to having a go at some of the prompts for Junk Journal July 2023. Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow.

@@megjournals thank you Meg for taking time to reply. I will give it a go!!!
You can write quotes in it, song lyrics, put photos in it, paint, stamps, etc....and do the #junkjournaljuly prompts 😊
That is neat looking and different binding that always looks difficult and it does co fuse me pls help
Love this idea. Just wondering...where do you journal? It seems like so many pages are printed leaving little room to write.
Thank you! So I add labels/journal spots over areas with printed text to allow me room to journal. I tend to work in little areas rather than text on a whole page.
