  • In this video, I share some exciting opportunities for structured notes and CDs that offer monthly rates between 7.5% and 8.5%. These investments can help you maximize your returns on CDs and money market accounts. I explain three specific options that just came across my desk, including one for income and two for growth. The income options have durations of 13 months and 18 months, linked to the S&P 500. They pay out monthly based on the S&P 500's performance, with a rate determined on the closing date. There's a downside protection buffer of 25% to safeguard against significant drops. The growth option is a 12-month note tied to the JPMorgan Afficiente index, offering 155% participation in its performance. These investments are great if you have extra cash and want a more aggressive option without diving fully into the market. They can provide downside protection while maximizing your returns. Is this using an Option "Indexing Strategy" Like an IUL or FIA? (Indexed Universal Life or Fixed Indexed Annuity)

It is considered a derivative like an IUL or FIA but there is no insurance component to it.

@@TravisSickle Thanks Travis! You help me understand a pretty complicated financial product! But does an annuity have an "insurance" component to it? Or just the IUL?

@@johnwebb7163 an annuity is an insurance product.

@@TravisSickle sorry I meant does it have to have a “death benefit”component like an IUL. But never mind I get it … it could have living benefits like LTC coverage… 👍🏼. Thanks !

@@johnwebb7163 a regular annuity doesn’t have to have a death benefit. The benefit would just be the account value.
