World's largest pumping station opens during Barry

The largest pumping station in the world was opened on the West Bank Saturday to drain water from the streets. The pumping station is located in Belle Chasse. This is the second time in history it has been opened. The first time was in 2012 with Hurricane Isaac. The pumps could fill an olympic-sized swimming pool in three seconds.
