- Follow me as I show you a fascinating and incredibly peaceful Norfolk walk amongst some fantastic ice age Pingo ponds around Thompson Common, along a stretch of an old Roman road called the Peddars Way, in amongst some swampy land and along an old disused railway line.
For details of the Pingo Trail walk, visit www.explorenor... where you can download the map and read through the route directions.

Another interesting and beautiful walk, i now know of pingos, i`d never heard of them before, every day is a school day, lol
Great filming. It’s a walk I do regularly so I know it well. Think you’ve captured the variety of landscapes encountered on this amazing walk.
That's so kind Linda, thank you. I love the walk too, particularly the swamps! It's such pretty woodland too. In fact, I love the whole walk!
Great video, looks beautiful and definitely going to go and walk the Pingo Trail!
That's great and thanks - it is fantastic! On the website you can find a map to download of the walk - www.explorenorfolkuk.co.uk/pingo-trail.html
Looks a lovely walk with stunning views loving the lakes , nice video 🙂👍
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it - it’s a great walk and very watery!!
Lovely walk which I have done several times including today. Would recommend the Peddars way to anyone who loves hiking. It’s easy to follow. I did the Peddars way in a day last summer to push myself.
Wow, walking the Peddars Way in a day, that’s incredible. It’s a great walk. Glad you enjoy the Pingo trail too, I bet it was wet today?!
@@ExploreNorfolkUK I wouldn’t recommend walking the Peddars way in a day, I started at 3am finished around 10:30pm. Yes the Pingo trail was extremely muddy today but still loved every second.
Thank you gorgeous
Thank you so much. It's a really fantastic walk and I particularly love the bit along Cranberry Rough in amongst the swamps!
