2007: a 17 year old girl had a crush on a 19 year old boy who later became the love of her life. a man that she loved unconditionally. She immediately texted him to see if he had ever heard such song, while he had not, she desired in her heart for them to listen to it together. One faithful night, a few months later, the two just so happen to be spending time together. They stayed up all night talking and spending time together. By 2 am she laid on his chest and started to drift off to sleep. While she was between sleep and consciousness, the song played. She immediately screamed and jumped up excitingly and said "this is the song". They laid together while listening to the song. He smiled and said "this is our song" years later the two developed one of the most purest forms of love and friendship which turned into a relationship. Life took a turn and the two could no longer remain together yet their love remained constant. Surprisingly it grew as the two stayed in contact. A miscommunication caused the two lovers to no longer speak. Something so small, so minute, and so STUPID! As of December 22 2019 the man's life was cut short. He passed 3 days before Christmas. The girl was devastated! She never got the chance to tell him how much she loves him and how much he meant to her. But she rests knowing he did know exactly how much he meant to her. In one of their last conversations he said "If I'm being honest I couldn't ask for a purer soul to love me. Our love is 'fire love'." By loving him, she learned how to love without limits, without judgement and without conditions. No matter where they both were in life, the love between them stood taller than any building in the world. They didn't have to be in a "relationship" to share the pure love that was between them. They didn't need titles. They just were and that was enough for them both. They came from two different worlds and circumstances wouldn't allow those worlds to unite except in love. 2019: I miss him so much. I regret I never reached back out to him. I realize that nothing is more important than the soul you are attached to. No matter how angry you are at the time. He was indeed, my true soul mate. Our souls ignited one another's; We were better knowing we had each other. I am thankful that we were given a chance to be with one another, be in love and to love each other. I just want to hear his voice one more time, I want to hear him call me "miss lady". I want to feel the strength of his arms as we embrace each other. I would give anything to lie down on his chest and fall asleep to the synchronized rhythm of the rise and fall of his respirations and the beat of his heart. I want to laugh with him until I cry.
