Supporter de Toulouse mais je félicite aussi cette belle équipe de Bath, une très bonne mélé et un beau jeu. Bravo les Toulousains pour cette 4ème victoire, on a la chance de recevoir tous les matchs cette année!
Thought Bath were a bit unfortunate not to sneak this one , Toulouse are very good however i was impressed with Bath they were at least the equal of Toulouse for most of the game, thought Willis was tremendous for Toulouse, should be eligible for England in my opinion.
nahh, Toulouse had lots of opportunities but didnt get to score as much. and lots of tries were dodgy from Bath

Bryce was weird, at least one guy from Bath deserved a yellow if not a red, I mean, if we talk about the safety of the players, one Toulouse player has been injured on a real uncontrolled clear out, disappointing.
Great game. Bath is a very good team, dominated Toulouse for most of the second Half. Toulouse's individualities saved them.
Jack Willis would be sorely missed for England. Lauwrence, Reid and that freak of a man Obano (Spell?) were great for Bath.
Lmfao Brace the englishman litteraly gave them 3 tries out of nowere and should have given them a red for the shoulder charge 😂
Bath is not a good team they play ugly boring english rugby and with a fair ref they'd been demolished.

@@Altermundo38 Don't agree, as a french fan i found Bath was pretty solid in defence and scrum. But Toulouse had this extra-talent to make differences.

England need to stop this only eligible for the national team if you play in Premiership. Imagine in football that Kane and Bellingham didn't get picked because they play abroad. It's so outdated Willis, Marchant, Simmonds brothers should be considered and Arundell . Zach Mercer would be as well going back to play in France.

simply put the entire english premiership is living on pretend income it just doesn’t generate the money that is spent on it, and the owners cannot afford to pay to keep talent in the country, but they need to keep peoples eyes on the league. Same reason they got rid of demotion, it’s pathetic really. Would do us a world of good to accept our position and allow players to play wherever they like, and let the prem be a place for new talent to come through u til it authentically grows in profitsbility
I agree, but if they fully let selection from aboard, literally every good player would go and the league would become so bad it may fold. And then the national team would suffer in a negative feedback loop.
Surely there is some middle ground, every player allowed 3 years aboard? Can be based aboard after playing 5 years in the league? Something along those lines
@@mysteryhombre81every player would not leave 😂 maybe 5% leave but there are still massive clubs in the premiership with big budgets, foreign spots in the top 14 are limited. It wouldn’t be as drastic as you think. And if the top 14 means we can pick all English players and if that improves them further and England performs better as a consequence, then it’s worth it. In the meantime English rugby and the premiership need to take a long hard look at their marketing and grassroots approach because they’re not growing the club game enough. A clear lack of passionate, more normal working class people going to club games and a severe lack of young people and ethnic minority fans playing or watching the game at all. They need to change that if they want rugby to have any prevalence here in 50 years time

As an Irish fan I, until recently, always thought Keenan was slightly better than Ramos. Know Ramos has been playing 10 so not directly comparable but he is absolutely flying since the world cup.
Both of them are in the World top 3 FB. Both great.
Good second half from Bath. Not being able to convert has also a lot to do with a strong defense from Toulouse, which is not only showing a creative attack. Should be a good year for toulouse
Both Lawrence & Slade prefer to play #13, so that potential ENG midfield pairing will be interesting. Not having Marchant as an option is a little disappointing.
Slade has had his chance at international level & proved not good enough. England need to move on

In the hierarchy of players, the safety of french guys is clearly bottom of the pile. Bath guy comes flying into a ruck, shoulder first, hits shoulder and neck, french guy goes out with a nasty injury.... And instead off sending the Bath guy off the refs go fishing for (bad) excuses. Not even a yellow card. And they talk and talk about how important the safety of players is...
Bath threw this game away. They dominated most of the second half throwing away multiple chances with the most notable being Cokansiga not passing a 3 on 1 next to the line (not the first time in this competition he has thrown away tries) he certainly showed why he isn’t in Borthwicks squad. Toulouse took their opportunities but this is one that got away for Bath. Positives to take they went toe to toe with probably the best team in Europe in their own back yard and had opportunities to win the game.
Dumb bath forward should not put hands up to draw attention
