About halfway through the video they state that they saw nothing in the mid-range, possibly something in the low and high end and that they were excited to test the bike on the track to see if they noticed anything.
Anyone who knows 2 strokes well please respond. Got a 2022 ktm 150, bike sounds bogged down and getting oil out of exhaust, oil mixture is already lean. What can I do to solve the issue? Has 3 hrs on it, but I worry the dealership let it sit idling for 30 mins and didn’t clear oil out. Could be wrong
oil to fuel ratios aren't what makes bikes lean or rich. lean/rich comes from air/fuel(+oil) ratios. the manual has a pretty good guide to jetting for different temperatures/elevations. I'm currently running a 32.5 pilot, 480 main, needle clip in the 3rd position, and air screw 1.5 turns out for typical temperature ranges from 45-65 degrees fahrenheit and my typical elevation ranges from 800ft-1200ft ASL. Also run good fuel, I mix 3 gallons of 93 pump to 1 gallon of c12 (110 Octane) mixed with motorex at 45:1. All seems well in my 2022 150 sx, best of luck.
@@marco88co somewhat true, a keihin carb upgrade is always a good idea but won't get you anywhere without knowledge on jetting. AKA spend your time learning jetting before you spend your money on a new carb!
Get a new carb, my 2019 yz125 was an absolute nightmare from factory. It came with the stock mikuni tmx 38. Replaced all seals on the carb, jet block gasket. Rejetted at least 30 times. Absolutely nothing worked. Threw in a Keihin 38 airstriker from Jd jetting and spent every bit of 30 mins jetting and the bike has never gave me an issue since. With the stock mikuni it fouled a plug every hour or less, spooge out the exhaust, ran extremely rich Throw that junk away. I know another guy with a 150 KTM 2019(same carb) his bike smokes terrible, spooge coming from muffler. Again, another super rich bike. They have some kind of issue going on with these things.
Hi I have Ktm 150sx 2017. what fatty pipe I should run?. I currently running a fmf gnarly but got a crack in it. Should I fix it or just buy a new one ? Thanks
Am I blind or did you not even have a fuckin 150 on the dyno?? Is that why you wouldn't tell us numbers? Different pipe on the bike when it was on the dyno than when it was on the track?
DYNO Tested and no DIFFERENCE But Boyesen has made MILLIONS with this product because people like Me want to believe in what the writing on the package says. Like engine rebuild in a can!!! 😂 😂🤣🤣🤣
What was the difference in HP and TQ. ?? You never said how much it had from stock to Boyesen reeds..
We need answers!!
Why put a dyno video without figures..
The numbers probably wouldn't help sales.
Theres never a huge difference in numbers
I think it wasn’t just the ktm smoking that day ☺️
what are the numbers ?

bike sounded super crisp... silky smooth riding btw man!!!
What was the horsepower
very cool video. how many horses this bike on the dyno? i hope this is not a secrett ;)

Very cool!

It’s the Mikuni carb… a total disaster… replace it with a Kehin
