Thanks for including the trials and tribulations. That's real life and there's additional learning to be had, much of it in watching how one goes through critical thinking, even if it doesn't end in success.
What kind of battery life do those Xtool sensors have? I haven't had very good luck with the OE GM sensors, they seem to last about 2 years before the battery dies. Lately I've been buying the $16-per-set cheapies from Amazon and they seem to last longer than the GMs. I like the idea of using an oscillating tool to cut the valve stem off - last time I did this I used my utility knife, dulled the blade, and ended up slicing my finger open when the damn thing slipped!! 🩸👆
I am not sure about the battery life, so I am hoping for the best. I installed one about a year ago and it is still going strong. I have a cheap set that was $20 on Amazon, they will get used some as the other two die, I also have 4 GM OEM sensors that I haven't used yet, and the battery life it still OK on those. Yes I thought of the oscillating tool when I was shooting the video. I said to myself, I know I Have to have something around here that will make easy work of this! Hope you didn't cut yourself too bad, but try the oscillating tool the next time easy peasy! 🍻🍻

That's how I learn a lot of the time, by making mistakes and thinking about what went wrong. Glad you got something out of it!
