💖👑👑💖🎬📽🎥Am so happy you are ok But loved how you turned your camera on him fantastic move Camilla 😊 Love all the little shops thay are all so cute 😊 Am so happy you are ok and didnt get Robbed thqnk goodness 😊
Camilla you are a joy to watch. You really have a good eye for design. I could listen to you talking all night about your description of all the lovely shops you visited. Thank you . X🇨🇮
I had similar experiences, once in London and in Paris. It’s a tingly feeling, when all your senses go on high alert. My solution was a confident stare and ducking into a shop doorway (Paris) and crossing the street (London). Good on you for heeding your intuition. ❤
I really enjoyed this post. It had so many things I love - wandering in Barcelona, choosing fabric colours and trims, and trying out numerous paint colors. Many thanks!
I am glad you were not caught by the potential thief and though I feel you were right, it is important to stress, as you did, innocent until proven guilty. Some scammers tried to rob me in Paris once and I was rescued by French police but prevention is better than cure. I am super cautious now. The building is so beautiful. It is fully worthy of all the trouble you are taking! Thank you for the video!
Girl you are getting around so much and seeing so many things that is wonderful. But you were very smart to do what you did that gut feeling is in os women that intuition is there for a reason! Smart woman
I LOVED all the color matching, trimmings, and stores you visited. This was a very enjoyable video, thanks so much for sharing it. You are a great host and designer.
Hi Cami 😊 Don't stop posting. You talent and great taste. I admire you so much. Wish I had your house.... There are lots of beautiful items for the house but, money is the only thing missing to buy them to beautify a home😢
Hi! I used to work as a picture framer.I worked with a young man who had the most amazing ability. He could look at a color and match it perfectly even months later. It is an special ability, like being a professional “Nose.” You might ask around at your local picture framers, art colleges, designers, artists, to see if you can find a similar talent. That way you could get the exact match. The other thing you can do is to go to your local library in Spain and look at historical volumes of decoration. It is possible that there were only a limited number of paint formulas for your historical period and you can get the original formula so you don’t have to worry that when the paints fade they fade to different tones. Historical museums in your area might be able to help as well. It would make some great videos to research this.
Oh Camilla! I'm so thankful you are aware of your surroundings, and your intuition for possible dangers. 😳 I loved being able to see a few of your favorite shops, and the trim you picked was PERFECT! The paint project will be fabulous in your capable hands. Thanks for another great video!! ❤❤😊
It looks like such a lovely day in Barcelona! Glad you spotted the would-be thief and warded him off. I can't wait to see you upholstering the chair! x
All these choices... 😮 But you are so interested and curious. A day like this, in the Spanish summer might have been a challenge for me. I'm sure everything is going to look beautiful. Brigitte 🌷
Your sheer pleasure in the trim shop was contagious. Your family is the perfect choice to steward the mansion. Keep taking it bit by bit, and your dreams for a beautiful home will come true. Great job with the potential thief.
I''m using Little Green paints at the moment with great success. Your colour pallet is lovely. Let's hope these wonderful specialist shops have a bright future in this day of online shopping. Well done you on tackling the guy following you. Creep. Take care. Maria
Camilla, I loved watching your shopping excursion experience (& even your super sleuthing!) as well as at home getting inspired to start painting and upholstering!
That trim was a great choice. My eye was instantly drawn to that one as complementary for both the pink and green fabrics. Looking forward to the finished product.
You were so awesome in how you handled that possible pick pocket! And I'm excited to see how the paints and the furniture come along. You are doing such a good job!
I love all the care you are taking in the restoration ❤ Your family is the perfect ones to be the caretakers of this beautiful mansion. Yes you were being targeted by a thief and you foiled him!
Beautiful fabrics and choices! Love the colors! You are a strong woman and I think you were super smart in how you handled yourself with a possible thief! Bravo
I like the bottom one, which is the cheapest one. Thank God you noticed that guy following you. I am glad you're ok. I love the greens in the paint. I have couple of different rooms in green myself.
Love the fabric and trim choices. Can’t wait to see the renovation tithe chair. Great job spoiling the possible thief. Such a beautiful city otherwise 😍😘
You were very sharp in noticing wrong doing and I'm so glad you turned on him and filmed him! You are so lovely and I'd hate for anyone to upset you in any way. In the end, It is wonderful that you had a wonderful trip to the shops and got lots of ideas for your mansion.
Lucky you spotted that guy, and you reacted fabulous. They are so sly. Those colors are really the closest to your needs. Hope you will have help with all of the intricat painting. ❤
Really nice job, Camilla. Thoughtful and interesting commentary on fabrics, paint, and the matching process. You have such a detailed and precise attitude - your beautiful home will thank you for your hard work for many, many years. And the filming of the city is so well done. Bravo!
Wow, going into that shoppe would have been so fun plus I’d spend hours just looking -you definitely have a good eye for what you want. Thank you for taking us along.
Well that was a nice adventure into the city. Thank you for taking us all along. Those fabrics are soooo pretty. You are doing such a great job with matching those paint colors. So subtle the differences but you are doing it!!!
The house and it's painted walls are so lovely- and so are the paint colors! I don't know if you meant to, yet your beautiful sage? green dress matches!!!! Also, what a cute cat!!!! (and dogs too!!!!) This is such a great series! I just discovered it...
Wonderful video,so inspirational. The minute I saw the trimmings I chose the one you decided on. Loved it , I think it will go so well with the fabric though I have little knowledge about upholstering. Thank you so much for taking us along , to an incredibly beautiful City. Loved everything. I think by the time you are finished , the Magical Modernist Mansion, really will be magical and amazing.
Hi Camilla, both fabrics are beautiful, I like the green with the second border, (I wrote this as you were showing the border, now I will see which one you pick) The murals are so beautiful what a painstaking, project that is going to be, but will be so beautiful when you are done. Always be aware of your surroundings, especially when traveling alone, good job on letting him know, that you knew he was there, and you weren't having it. Well done, looking so forward to seeing the rooms come back to life, and to see how the chairs turns out. Love from N.Y.
Beautiful, colourful, calm episode. It is joy to watch. Few years back in my interior design business i used to design trimmings and tie backs, and get them made in Egypt in any material(silk, cotton, linen) to match the exact colours of the fabrics of my clients. The price was a fraction of any high street prices. For example once we made curtains for a really large, wide window of over 3 meters high, it needed a substantial tie backs. I designed a large 1 meter long tie backs. In uk the quote was £400, in Egypt i got it made in silk for £30.
There are quite few in cairo, they are called alaqadeen(العقادين). You just take your fabrics, a sketch or any picture of what you want to be done and they will make it for you. If you wish i can get you names and addresses. It would be better If you have an arab or egyptian friend to take with you (so you will not be taken advantage of).
I really enjoy watching your vlogs more and more. It is like travelling. Also they are connected with your life: you go to the shops looking for something to decorate your chairs. And so we get to know the shops surrounding the trim shop, which is a good reason. An elegant and natural way initiating the story...
Dulcinea was the name of the woman in Man of La Mancha. Glad you were so aware of the possible harm. That happened to me once in London so I just popped into a shop and stayed there for awhile.
Loved shopping with you today. I’m arriving alone in Barcelona in mid August so I need all the tips I can get to avoid being pick pocketed. I guess just being really aware of your surroundings is important.
I’ll be in Barcelona in October : I’ve never been and am excited to see a new city. Thank you for the video, very well timed for me. Just wanted to add that this house was so very lucky to find you to be its new owner and care taker. Your passion for the house is very evident.

What a delightful shopping day. Thank you for taking us with you. Looking forward to seeing your finished chair. 🫶🥂☀️

Wow so many beautiful items 🥰🥰
It is going to be so beautiful!

I found this so much more interesting than the bars and museum vlogs. Thank you.

Think I was in the same shop years ago! It is a beautiful part of Barcelona just to wander around and get inspired...
