I know how you feel, I've got hundreds of hours in DCS and probably just as many on their UA-cam

If you mean combat flight sim, then yes.
With guns perhpas. As a flight sim without guns its maybe 4th at best, lol. It isnt even in MSFS league.

Certainly the best combat flight sim. For general flight simming in General P3D is my go to. But people will have differing opinions on that

Egyptian here as well and very happy for this, although if I'm being honest they haven't nailed the cities quit right but i wont mind
@@blackcore6785 nothing need to be 100% accurate, cuz this would be so difficult and will take a lot of time, but we are happy about what they have done here, they did a really great job.

We may not always see eye to eye ED but with multithreading and the F-15E and now this, I'm sold. Hope the hits keep coming.
DLSS is coming, so something more to look forward to - but we need more CPU optimization as its still bottle necking

War thunder introduces players to military aviation, DCS is usually the next step (from personal experience).

Thanks for Fixing the servers 🙌, Purchased it, and first impressions in VR 3080ti are.. Excellent. Some reviews did however state that there is no noticeable frame rate drop over the cities.. This is not true in VR, however it's not any worse than is usual for built up areas, and Cairo is maybe not as bad as Dubai. All in all.. great work all at OnReTech, give yourselves a pat on the back and I'm sure you already popped the Champaign lol. 100% recommend, totally happy with purchase, thanks guys :)

I watch this every day 5 times, I have seen a few trailers in my life, but the emotions this gives me, from warfare trough strenght and happiness is just something else.

@@mitch_the_-itch Actually I often would like movie makers to learn from ED how planes behave, so often we see things that planes just dont do in 300mio $ productions and flight physics look absolutely believable in ED flims and actually in the game. So they certainly have that. About the graphics engine of DCS, well it has its flaws to say the least

@@mitch_the_-itch Cmon, there are enough green terrain on this map. The Suez canal and delta area are so full of green cenery. The trees on the Sinai map are the best in all the maps available in dcs IMHO.

Metrea Simulations is mapping the entire world. I really think ED is taking advantage and should consider doing the same and stop charging for every individual map. Metrea looks awesome BTW!
Metrea doesnt make their sim for the public.
they need to upgrade the whole engine to finally work with real satelitte images and give the community the oppurtunity to edit everything like in MSFS2020, boring cartoon look with copy paste of a few buildings is super boring..

I love all of the DCS terrains and I'm sure I've felt similarly each time I've picked up a new one but I'm thoroughly impressed with how well Sinai is running even in very dense areas.

@@Topper_Harley68Yes, I also like the South Atlantic map. There’s a lot that one can say about it but I feel that, overall, the landmass is impressive and I’m glad for its inclusion. I certainly don’t think that DCS would be better for its absence.
really, how well running, those old boring cartoonish looking ground graphics.. are you kidding, they should even run on an old pc.
Looks just awesome and is great for both historical and modern air warfare scenarios, a real must buy. Now I've just got to move a few things around to make enough room on my SSD's!!!

I would realy like a Map like switzerland with the alps and airbaises in the mountains
Since the Swiss have remained neutral since their inception Switzerland is not really the most suitable map for any historical (or future) combat scenarios. However the scenery looks amazing to fly around in Flight Sim 2020 and Aerofly FS2 as it does in real life.
Someone is working on a Norway map.
@@SteveSurgenor Yes the Kola map in the scandaniva region by Orbx would offer some similar scenery.
@@SteveSurgenor Yeah Norway would be pretty cool, interesting terrain and historical WWII scenarios plus possible future conflicts with Russia. Personally I'd love to see Korea and Vietnam in DCS.

I'm loving the new map.
Got the map!! Done some start-ups and free flying in F-16 and F/A-18. Absolutely stunning. Great bases, beautiful scenery, detailed airports. Flew and landed in Ben Guirion in Isreael, and the visuals are absolutely spot-on. The graphics are so good now, it feels like the real thing. The only complain I have now is that it is so real, that the airports feel a bit desolate without people and vechicles moving around on the ground. I believe Sinai is the nicest map so far.
yap and all airfield detail is a joke and totally unrealistic, pretty boring. they not even has included the Civilian airport terminal at OVDA Airbase, the buildings are all wrong or missing at all, same goes for all the other Airbases, ground cartoon graphics are completely early 2000 look.. it's horrible and gets boring quickly
