ideal caster angle
5 to 7 degrees is what I always go for in a lifted xj
S10 leaf springs x2 $30 at junkyard but I bought new to get a better lift $150
Rubicon Express 5.5 coils which gave my 6 inches after settling $99
Lower control arms $99
Upper control arms $99
Lower control arm drop bracket $150 helps improve ride
Rear extend break line $15
Transfer case drop $6 I recommend SYE
Rough country JEEP FRONT FORGED ADJUSTABLE TRACK BAR (XJ, ZJ, MJ W/ 4-6.5IN) $150
ZJ pitman arm free
We have a total of $648 in this lift and we got some nice stuff
Rough county 6.5 lift $1,049.95
Rough. county 4.5 lift $749.95
And honestly my lift probably won’t settle like rough country does but if you have the money just go ahead and buy a lift
I’m just showing you can do this in your backyard on a budget

I just installed a 4.5 RC lift on my 2000 XJ, I did my research and bought the Shankly spring compressor tool, I never once felt uncomfortable using it, solid construction, ball bearings on the bolts, completely safe, they worked great. and heck the tool was only 70 bucks off Amazon, I would highly recommend it.
auto zone and some other parts store will loan them.. you pay a deposit and get it back when done. Did that when i lifted my ranger
Thanks for the awesome videos Ronnie. I constantly look back to your videos for info.
There is a wrecked Jeep XJ on my property, maybe I should pull it out and see what sort of shape its in? Nah, probably tweeked the frame too much. PR wrecked in years ago off the highway. Nice video, made me miss mine from years ago.
Did you need longer front driveshaft
Nice looks good man..and nice to c some Cherokee content 🇺🇸🦅👍🤘🏽👊
Turned out great Ronnie
Would you come to Maryland Carroll County and help me lift my 99 limited ? Fighting stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer and I want a proper lift I have as of now 2 inch lift pucks and shackles
Chevy 1500 2wd front brake lines That's what I have on my Cherokee with a 6 and a 1/2 inch long arm kit
What year
we need to get you a new mic for some better audio when your working on your jeep )) I'm mic clueless lol send me a link maybe one could show up?
What year s10 leaf springs?
speaking of lockers id love to put one in the front of my 01 xj. Ive looked at the aussie and sparten, have you had any road time with one of them? Id like to retain my hwy drivability. thanks
Yup I’ve had both locked with Spartans for a couple years never really knew they were their the back would ratchet on black top turning sharp sometimes
the last build I did had only the front and I definitely didn’t know it was their
Awesome thanks for the info. Sounds like I’ll be adding them to the shopping cart.
I have had Spartan lockers in both axles of my XJ on 35s for a few years, works great on and off road and they have never given me any issues.
How did you get it so you’re Springs didn’t work bent
What did u have to do to the rear of it?
What model S10 were the rear leafs off of?
Well hell that's pretty bad ass .. I need to lift my rig got plans for a pair of 33s .. your from West Virginia ain't cha ? I'm from Maryland might have to hook up and get your help lift her up and put a cherokee Ronster sticker on her 😉🤘🏻haha stay muddy my friend
Your spring are bowed hard you need longer lower and upper control arms the lowers you got are still too short I think jk control arms might work better you might have to use some misalignment spacers
Go watch the final build a lot has changed
Link to lower control arms please
Great video!
Those transfer case drops will just ruin your motor mounts. You'll change motor mounts as often you change oil.
I ran them for 4 years with brown dog mounts had not one problem
What about sye kit
Go back on my channel and watch the full episode
Best one here
Lo que nesecitaba ...gracias por su ayuda , saludos desde Colombia
What about the upper arms
If you watch the rest of the videos on the channel you can watch the whole build
I need a Tetanus shot just looking at those parts.
